NO.1. Ask :
Oh. Dear. Lord. It's here!
My dream last night must have been a sign because today my gold Faithfull copy has finally arrived from HK Bag Lady. :faint: Oh my. What a beauty.
I'm unable to post pictures until I get home tonight. I tried it on (as it's a cross body bag) with my work attire (black trousers and an aubergine polo) and my work colleagues couldn't really see what kind of look I was going for but dressed down with jeans, flipflops and a vest in the summer it'll look fab.
It has expert finishing as always and is beautifully soft. Oh I can't wait to use it!
Answer:
:yay: That's weird though because the night before mine came I dreamt about it too!! So glad it's arrived and you love it, yay! Look forward to seeing the pics tonight Toosh.

    NO.2. ask :
    Anyone else bored of winter?
I've had enough now! By the end of summer I relish the idea of dressing in lot of warm and cuddly winter clothes, but after a couple of months I'm fed up with it! I long for the days of wearing pretty flip flops, floaty skirts and vest tops. I relish summer dressing much more than winter, but find the appearance of summer clothes in the shops when there's no chance of wearing them for *ages* yet really really depressing :(
Anybody else got a bad case of the winter blues?
    Answer:
yes i am, totally. but as you said, i'm fickle like that and by august i'm looking forward to snuggly winter clothes again
i think too that by the time the weather warms up to warrant you wearing all the summer styles its like theyre all old-hat as theyve been in the shop windows for months !
    Answer:
I hate winter - I think I was made to live in much warmy sunny climes! I adore living in little skirts, flipflops and vests - its just so easy to get dressed in the morning!
    Answer:
I hate winter - I think I was made to live in much warmy sunny climes!
Me too...it's almost worth relocating for! I wish I could hibernate, like...erm...animals that hibernate! (mental blank  )
I think next year I should make sure I book myself a holiday for the winter months; a dose of sunshine when it's cold and bleak at home may just about get me through :D
    Answer:
I detest Winter with a vengeance, if I could emigrate right now I would. I am a summer person and as soon as I get the chance to leave this country again I'm off, so after that rant yes I am very bored of Winter and being bundled up like the michelin man, I never look forward to Winter clothes either, I hate them and it :grumpy smilie:

    Casual footwear with jeans
I want some more casual footwear to wear with jeans but have no idea what to get. I love high heels when I'm going out but want something comfy when shopping etc (but still look trendy).
    Any ideas???????

    Answer:
    Its a funny one
as I used to wear my slightly lower pointy boots to shop in as I'm 5.5 and like to have some height from shoes.
Then I got bored of that look and started to wear Timberland boots with jeans on those days where lots of walking was requried (i.e. girlie shopping sprees!)
But I have recently bought some beautiful indian slipper style flat pumps (in a pale green - gorg !) which look fab with jeans and will be nice for when the weather warms up ?
I'd be interested in what others recommend as its always a bit tricky.

    Answer:
    Trainers?
    I love my converse :D
    Answer:
    Hello,
I think the flat pumps that are in all the shops look great with jeans, as already mentioned- and there is also the jeans tucked in comfy boots option for the colder months if this is a look you like?
I absolutely love the look of pointy flats peeping out from under jeans- but only on other people, on me, I am convinced they make my feet look huge (I am size 6) does anyone else find this? and sorry to ask a question on someone else's thread, hope that is ok:) bit i thought it was kind of related.
    Answer:
    Thanks for replying
I have got some flat boots but not all of my jeans look right tucked in so I'm going to look for some nice pumps.
Hi Bobbin-Dog, I'm only size 4 so sometimes think I look like I'm top heavy going to topple over. Size 6 isn't huge.

Need quick answer on Frye Boots please!
    Ladies
going to lunch soon, and think i'm going to purchase pair of Fryes.
BUT - they don't fit my leg!!! Nice sales guy in the store suggested to me on Monday that I have a shoemaker open down the seam on the inside leg of the boots and insert a patch of thick elastic in order to make them fit my calves.
This sounds really innovative, and i want to do it because I've been dying to get a pair of Fryes since last year, but they're always that tiny bit too tight on my calf.
What do yo think? buy them and chance it or could it not be done?
    thanks!!!
    Tiny
    Answer:
Re: Need quick answer on Frye Boots please!
I've never heard of anyone doing it, but I see no reason why a competent shoe-maker couldn't manage it. Could you maybe buy the boots, ask at your local cobblers and see if they could do it and return the boots if they can't?
    g_k
    Answer:
    Hi Geek Kitten
am sure that won't be a prob - have even thought of an alternative way to do it if this way doesn't work. The store is a bit far away, so would prefer if it would work (particiularly as i'm obsessed with having a pair!).
    thanks

Will be the new Uggs, apparently, not one i'll be partaking in myself. I'll stick with my jeans tucked into my riding boots thanks!
    Answer:
Ha, I saw a picture of Miss Moss the other day wearing these boots with cropped jeans and thought hold up everyone's going to copy these now! To be honest I did boots like that in the 80's, not sure if I'm keen to revisit.
    Answer:
    PMSL Na
    Answer:
Oh I saw that too. Wasn't so concerned about the high heeled boots (I have worn pointy, buckly boots over jeans. Call me fashion-forward!) as the assumption that we're all stupid cattle who'd rush to look like *that*.
*That* being "fashion victim on crack" - skinny bandy legs, hugging oneself for warmth inside a voluminous anorak. Yeah, that's a look we're all desperate to copy.
    Answer:
    Hello,
That is exactly what I thought- they looked quite cute with the cropped jeans and I am sure they will be in all the high street shops soon.
Just hope the leggings don't catch on...
