Happy Birthday Mimi

NO.1. Ask :
Happy Birthday Mimi
Thought I'd post this thread now as I'm not on the bag much at the weekend. Not sure when the actual day is but wanted to send my wishes. Hope you have a great birthday and night out :yay:
Answer:
Yeah, have a gert lush day chick ;)
Answer:
Happy Birthday from me too - hope you get lots of cool things and have a fantastic day! :yay:

Answer:
Oh Wow thank you!!!:faint:
A whole thread for my birthday and it's still a full two days away!
Unfortunately there's no birthday smiley (you'd think there would be since there's about 100 Christmas ones) so I've tried to express myself with few new ones!
In case anyone's interested, I will be a whole 27 years old on Sunday so from next week I shall be found solely on the Home and Gardens message boards.

    Maternity Clothes
    Good Morning Guys,
Where is the best place to buy maternity clothes? Heard Hennes Topshop are doing ranges - Just wondered if anyone has bought any from there and what the Style/Quality/Pricing is like?
    Many Thanks
    SF x
    Answer:
I used to get mine from HM (good prices and nice stuff) and also got some stuff from Next. Didn't really want to buy expensive stuff, but still wanted to look nice!
Things have probably changed now since I bought maternity wear (2 years ago!) - but I think HM and Next would still get my votes.
    Answer:
These are more expensive than your high street chain options but are lovely , in my opinion, worth it!

    Answer:
    Congratulations Sunshine Fairy!
I just bought my best mate some cute bits from Topshop, but my senior producer who's 7 months pg has only bought one item of maternity wear (designer jeans) and is refusing to buy anything she won't be able to to wear in two months time!

    Answer:
    ...why not?
I like it too, in the tan colour though - not the silver.
They sell them in New Look too for £12 - cheaper and nicer I think.

    New Game for Chav Spotters
Pike Marking - amuse yourself whilst shoppong by not only smirking at chavs, take it to a new level, analyse the "quality" and quanty of chavs and let the town have an offical here Pike Mark rating.
I grading system I use is:
One Cap - the occassional cap wearing perma-tanned blonde, more footballers wives than real chav.
Two Caps - Small groups over similarly unsuitably dressed girls, presence of fake Louis Vuitton.
Three Caps - Mixed groups dressed in branded sports wear, significant loitering outside Mac Donalds
Four Caps - Mixed groups with buggies, market selling designer fakes, spitting in the streets, menacing gatherings in pedestrianised areas.
Five Caps - Lock your car doors, ignore speed limits and red traffic lights.
I was in Southampton yesterday and have awarded it a Pike Mark rating of 4 Caps - an upgrade from my original rating of 3 after overhearing a pregnant chav in Primark saying she was going to call her baby something like Taneash because it was a "dude name"
    Answer:

    Answer:
Yes this spitting in the street chav thing is worrying. Last time I was shopping in Belfast the pavement outside McDonalds was so disgusting - absoultely covered in spit from all the chavs (spide over here) .Put me off a McDonalds anyway!
    Answer:
Myself and my ex boyfriend *sticks a needle in his effigy at the mention* once came up with a rating system. We were extremely bored, and if I remember correctly, it had seventeen levels, through from fledgling ned (the Scottish equivalent to a chav) right through to King Ned. It was all based on how many stripes they displayed, and the angle they wore their hat at.
    We were that cool lol.
