1 Attachment(s) From Hong kong and whilst it is absolutely fantastic quality and workmanship and I adore the style and size I am unsure about the colour. I chose it from an online swatch (which I thought was more camel/tan)as I didn't have the real ones then. I guess it will grow on me, it's just different to what I would normally have, what do you think?
Apologies for terrible photo, until my digi camera is fixed I have to make do with my phone camera.
    Answer:
I like it a lot! Both the style and the colour. What do you think is wrong with the colour? brighter than you would normally have or just different??
I have a suggestion; if you have nothing to go with it you can either a) buy some new clothes/shoes to go with it or b) give it to me cause it doesn't really suit you anyway and it would go really well with my hair! lol :p
No seriously it's lovely, I'm green with envy (which doesn't go with what I'm wearing at all!).

I have to say that I'm not totally sure about the colour from that photo as it appears on my monitor - would you say it was mango?
Did I read that peaches and oranges are in-colours this year?

I know I could post this elsewhere but Fashion is my here home.
I am filling out a job app. I have to put down my previous employment, and as I'm a recent graduate this means summer and part-time jobs. I can't leave any summers out without seeming like a total bum.
Trouble is, one of my summer jobs was awful. I commuted for 2 hours each way for ridiculously low pay, and took calls from the foaming-at-the-mouth-crazy public, who regularly threaten legal action and bodily harm if I couldn't help them. I quit by mid-July.
Now, how to I answer where I am asked why I left that job?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks ladies.

Can you not just say it was a temporary summer job? and make out as if it only lasted that long?
    Answer:
Because you had an elderly relative that fell ill and you, being the caring sort, offered to help care for him/her during the summer as you had the time free.
    Answer:
Yes, I'd go with what QOP suggested.
    g_k
    Answer:
I agree with QOP and G_K. No one will question why you left a temporary summer job. I'd just use exactly the same wording something like "Temporary summer contract" in that column for all the jobs and it won't stand out.

    Capsule Wardrobe
    Hi Girls,
Iv recently started to re-think my wardrobe. Iv loads of stuff I always hang onto and have done for years !

2 x long linen skirts (white red).

    Beige knee gypsy skirt.
    Brown vest/lace top.
    Black/white shirt and tank top.
    Cream poncho.
    Long black boots.
    Wedge shoe.
    Trainers.
    Killer heels.
    Kitten heels.
What am I missing to complete my compact wardrobe?
Im aware I need top! Any suggestions? Im thinking some plain vests and plain tight tee's.
    Love Cherryxx
    Answer:
    Re: Capsule Wardrobe
COLOUR!!!! Throw a few colourful tees in there and I think you'll be okay ;)
    Answer:
Ditch the poncho, eberyone and their dog has one and they shouldn't be part of a capsule wardrobe.
A beige cashmere top is a must IMO and I'd throw in some pashminas and a tnech coat for good measure.
Oh and pair of dark sunglasses.
    Answer:
A couple of fitted jumpers, cashmere if you can afford it, with whatever neckline suits you best, in black and a colour.

    Er, are you Jackie O?
I'm really not sure about the concept of a capsule wardrobe, or at least a universal one. That is unless you want to end up either looking very bland or wearing things that don't suit you.
My capsule wardrobe would include lots of green, slim fitting trousers and very few, if any skirts. Certainly not floaty ones.

    Help Me Plan weekend outfits.
    Hello again guys,
Hubby and I are staying at a hotel Saturday :yay: and Im having trouble wondering what to take (clothes wise). The hotel seems very nice, posh retaurant etc, but our day is gonna be so varied. On the agenda for the weekend is:
Cinema, bowling, Swimming, casual lunch, posh tea, evening drinks.
What on earth shall I wear/take without taking too much?
I dont want to be too dressed or not dressed enough if you know what I mean, looking at all the different bits we are doing.
    Thanks in advance,
    Cherry xx
    Answer:
Well I would take jeans, flat boots a couple of jumpers/tops and blazer style jacket for cinema, lunch, bowling, swimming (well not in the pool, but you know what I mean) and then for posh tea and evening I would take a smart pair of trousers worn with one of above jumpers/tops and either high boots or shoes then same pair of trousers worn with a dressier top for evening. Then you can go in 1st outfit and all you need to pack are shoes, underwear, couple of tops, trousers, swimsuit and tolietries etc.
