That new magazine Grazia
There's a new weekly glossy magazine out called Grazia, some of you may have seen the advert for it on Tv over the past week or so.
I just wondered if anyone had bought an issue and if so, what did you think of it?
ASOS have just sent me an email with a 75p off coupon for the first issue.

They were giving this magazine out free in my local Sainsbury's, but I was in such a rush I didn't take one! It looked ok, if a bit on the thin side?! As for the content I have no idea -sorry!

I got one free last night and read it - quite good actually. It was very thin compared to normal glossies but that is because it is intended to come out weekly rather than monthly. It actually had a lot in it as there were only a few advertisements (although I am sure that will change when the magazine becomes more established).
It dealt with my major areas of interest - celebrity gossip, beauty, diet fads and fashion. I guess its kind of like an upmarket cross between Heat and Instyle.
I don't know how much it will be but I will probably pick that up instead of Heat or Now or Closer or whatever for the odd time I buy a magazine for the tube journey.

I swear to God it's now a different shop!! I was down there a few wks back and I could have sworn they've turned it into a cheapo denimy shop. It was near there ...I may have bene mistaken but I asked the security guard, "Didn't this used to be NL" and he said it was his first day and he didn't know :confused:

I'm in the process of clearing out my wardrobe as I have way too much stuff - painful process!
I seem to have accumulated a fair few things that "could last years" and, more to the point, it's stuff that I love. I must be getting better at shopping :)
I wondered what FIVE items you know you'll keep from season to season...
My personal top five:
• Brocade coat - cream with gold and pale colours woven through
• Black dress from Karen Millen - fits like a glove
• FAMKs - they do their job so well
• Coccinelle here - looks vintage; very classy
• Chocolate brown boots - knee high, pointed, sexy and comfortable - yaay!

Nice well fitting jeans - 7FAMK Stretch bootcuts and COH Stretch Fayes
A DVF wrap dress - they just fit my shape so well (I'm looking at buying a couple more of these - when something decent comes up on Ebay or in the US - I'm not paying UK prices :eek: )
Cashmere sweaters/cardis
The last two things on my list are things that I haven't bought yet - I've ordered a pair of brown pointy boots from Duo (to replace my old black ones from Jones years ago). And I'm still on the lookout for the perfect neutral here - either in tan or chocolate. Just haven't found 'the one'

Have just started working nr Royal Exchange and popped into the Tiffany's there for a look :)
Am pondering about their bean pendant - only thing is can't decide whther to go for the small or medium size!?

I have the small bean necklace in silver - another size never came into consideration when I bought this.

I also chose the small one. It's more delicate and twinkly and looks better on my framesize and with the lightweight clothes I'm likely to be wearing it with.
*eta* but I bought the next size up from mine in the teardrop for someone else because she has a larger neck than me and I thought the small one would look too insignificant but each time I've seen her wear it I've regretted not buying her the same small size as mine because I don't think it looks so special.
I think I prefer either the very small delicate or big statement sizes in the pendants and nothing in between.

I'm sure most of you know I've recently had a baby, and am just starting to feel like I have my shape back. I'd like to treat myself to some 7FAMK's, but have a couple of q's for the experts!
1. which fit are the most flattering (I'm a 12-14 unfortunatley)
2. Can you get genuine ones on Ebay, and it so, what size should I be looking to get?

Hi, can't help you with the sizing unfortunately as I'm not sure which would be best for you, but I think a stretch in a dark bootcut would be very flattering. I have these and love them.
As far as ebay goes, I'd be very careful and only buy from sellers recommended on here, do a search and you will find a thread where it lists them all. I sat and looked through over 100 lisitings last night on ebay as I want some new ones and not one pair were real. I even bidded on a pair thinking they were genuine as I thought I had it pretty sussed but then I found this website which really helped me out, it's translated from German so sounds a bit off but they know their stuff and it's great to check for fake cut numbers. Here
Apart from ordering from recommended sellers you could also try net a porter, they have (or had, I've been trying to get on there to look for you but it won't let me for some reason) some NYD's.
