Fashion behind closed doors
I was just wondering what everyone wears at home. Obviously it depends on what time you get in at / whether you work from home etc. Do you stay in your work clothes (formal or smart casual?) or change when you get in? Into your pyjamas?
I get home at 7pm and generally stay in my smart / casual work outfit until bedtime. I usually lose any long necklaces though as the puppy would have them pulled off in a blink of an eye! If I'm in heels I'll also change into ballet flats.

Hi:wave:
I usually get in about 5.15 ish and it's straight off with the heels and into trackie bottoms for slouching
I like to " shake off " the day if you know what I mean and change out of work stuff.
Answer:
I'm such a slob at home it's straight into the jim jams or trackie bottoms for me. Helps me feel more relaxed.
Answer:
I'm straight through the door and into either my pyjamaas or my Primarni Juicy-esque hoody and bottoms. I wear Uggs or Havs on my feet, depending on the time of year. I like to take off all my jewellery and my make up as well.
Answer:
I get in at 4pm, the bra comes off immediately I put some joggers on slob about in them until about 7ish when I change into my jim-jams, so I can relax with my after dinner coffee. Bliss. :hop:

Just thougth I'd share that random thought with you all :p
Answer:
I know the one you mean, tis nice.
And the type of jacket that goes with everything in your wardrobe. I've just made matters a whole lot worse, haven't I?
Answer:
Yup! :D
Answer:
Yes indeed. I spotted it a few weeks ago in Style and decided it was the only thing I wanted! Isn't it the most expensive piece though, and as it's not a limited edition collection perhaps it won't sell out and we can both get it?!
It's lovely, I love the sleeves.
:D

One just fell from my wardrobe and landed right in the middle of the top of my head! It hurt so much and has formed a HUGE bump already, its made me feel rather hot and dizzy too, not good. Bad shoes!
Answer:
ouch! I thought you were gonna say they fell apart or something then I'd be all ready to return mine! I actually have them on now (still with the tag while I wear them in hehe)
Keep them on a low shelf from now on, and hope the bump goes down. Sounds very painful x
Answer:
Just make sure you dont let you feet go over your head just incase! I had to pour myself a glass of wine to stop me shaking!
They are good shoes tho, wore them for a 9-6 day at uni, half hour walk there and home and lots of walking between classes, my feet werent sore at all! SLight discomfort towards the end of the day, but that happends after having my feet stuck in any shoes all day!
Answer:
Ouch, get some ice on the bump to keep the swelling down. If you haven't got any ice a bag of frozen peas is a good substitute.

At last! Something to do with the big bag of frozen peas! *goestonumbhead*
Bridesmaid Dresses ideas

Bridesmaid Dresses ideas
Hi
Can anyone give me ideas where to look for Bridesmaid dresses, A friend is getting married and we are looking for dresses that are not too expensive, the budget is about £120 for each person. Also we want dresses that the bridesmaids can wear again and not just one off.
Many Thanks
Answer:
Here's a few ideas:
- they have a really wide range of designs and colours and if you shop around you can get them for around £100-120. Some of them are very bridesmaidy, others you could definitely wear again.
- similar to Dessy but slightly more glam designs
- just be aware that a lot of wedding guests shop at Coast too so could end up wearing the same dress
Answer:
Hi
This might be a bit too obvious but how about monsoon or coast? They usually have nice dresses in there that bridesmaids could wear.
Answer:
A friend of mine was a bridemaid not too long ago and she had the same sort of criteria that you have - in the end they picked a long skirt and strapless top from coast; both red, and they kind of looked like a dress really, but the idea was that they could wear it again; well, at the very least the top, as it would work equally well with jeans and heels.
ETA: cross posts, seems coast is an obvious choice
Answer:
I don't know what colours you're looking for, but Debenhams had some lovely black bridesmaid dresses - long with a beaded strapless top and little boleros to go with. I like big girls (I mean age here gang, nothing fatist!) in black, i think it sets the brides dress off nicely too in the photos, also most people wear and most guests (if they follow etiquette!) wont.
Good luck!
Kat xx
