Hello Missy, hope you don't mind me asking you a HKBL related question then!
Are there any silver leather swatches in there?
:):):)
Answer:
I couldn't see any, but I wasn't looking that closely... off to have a proper look now and will report back later :)
Answer:
Cheers Yingers.
I've ordered a silver bag from her without seeing any proper swatches - just a picture - but I wondered if anyone who had a silver swatch could tell me if it was tin foil shiny or a more matt silver.
Answer:
Sorry babe, no silver swatch :(
Awful... I have to share
NO.2. ask :
Awful... I have to share
Just been to the post office to collect my swatch parcel... as I parked outside a chav mobile (boyyyed up Citroen saxo - think it was a 1 litre too) pulled up, with a typical chav couple... I noticed they follow me into the PO as they had a parcel to collect too... he was tracksuit baseball hat and she was fluffy pink here and gold jewellery overdose...
Anyway, got back to the car and was waiting for mr yingers and they returned a couple of minutes after me... immediately they were unpackaging the parcel... and it was *gasp* a REALLY nasty fake LV boston bag in white with the multicolour logos

It really did look squashed and awful from the postage, they were scrutinising it so much I have no idea what they were doing. They were passing it to and from each other probably debating it's authenticity... my bets are on it's from ebay... but seeing this actually made me realise how bad fakes are and actually made me feel quite sorry for the poor suckers who bought the real thing.
If you're going to get something fake, at least get something a bit more decent and alot less garish... come on!
Answer:
You've just reminded me of a woman I saw when I was shopping this weekend. My dad pointed her out, I think I subconsciously block out such atrocities!
She was a rather large lady wearing a lemon yellow velour tracksuit, a furry brown and white gilet over the top, fake mukluks, (peroxide blonde) hair up in a yellow scrunchie.. and a giant fake monogram LV bag slung over her shoulder.
I loved my first LV bag when I got it, it's a shame they're standard chav wear now.
Best bargain of my life
NO.3. ask :
Best bargain of my life
I don't post on fashion often but felt the need to share my bargain that I got today. I was going through my local nearly new shop and found a Kate Spade here for $1 !!!!! It's a lovely tiny square bag in dark blue denim. I'm soo chuffed although for that price it might just have to go on ebay. :p
I asked the lady if the price tag was right and she said "who's this Kate Spade then?" I didn't feel the need to enlighten her. :yay:
LPP xxx
Answer:
That is a bargain! Enjoy your new bag :D
Answer:
:wave:Hi!!!
What a great find!!You are definatly right to be chuffed!
Uptowngirl (whose just a tiny bit jealous:cool: )
Topshop metallic leather ruched bag
NO.4. ask :
Topshop metallic leather ruched bag
Has anyone seen the metallic leather ruched bag from Topshop? If you go to the Topshop website and look at the third bag along in the bags section (ruched suede bag £28), it is the same shape as that but it is metallic genuine leather and £50  It's pretty steep but I really like the silver one. It's actually either silver or a very very pale gold. It's hard to tell due to the lighting.
Can anyone who has seen it instore offer an opinion? Do you think it's worth £50?
Answer:
it comes in both silver and gold. i was umming and aahing over it yesterday but decided it would probably end up everywhere and i do like topshop to be cheap so decided against it. it is a nice bag though!
Answer:
Thanks Annanas. Yep, I saw the two colours and decided I liked the paler one but I just couldn't tell in there if it was pale gold or silver! :yaright: I also tried on a pair of cream faux snakeskin courts which were lovely but also £50. Decisions decisions...
Answer:
Not really my thing but it's a nice looking bag and pretty good for the price.
BTW - that close up pic on the homepage is not attractive... Topshop does it again :meh:
Answer:
it's actually not bad irl, i would've bought it were it not for the fact that there were about 200 of them all over the place putting me off!
