Email to all users?!
This is a mass mailing to all here.com users, informing you of a change to the here.com Discussion Boards.
Insulting and abusive behaviour directed at either a here.com employee or volunteer will no longer be tolerated on the here.com Discussion Boards.
This is based on not just this month's events on the board, but also several other similar events in the past during which here.com employees were shown extremely aggressive behaviour.
The decision is a result of this type of behaviour to all other here.com employees who have been in charge of the boards in the past as well as current events; it is felt throughout the company that it is absolutely unacceptable.
If you have a concern or complaint about a volunteer, the correct procedure is to email the Communities email address.
If you have a concern or complaint about a here.com employee, the correct procedure is to email the Editor email address.
Both can be found on the Contact Us page, at the bottom of every page on here.com.
General Chat will be temporarily closed while our team remove offending threads. Any further abusive comments posted at a here.com employee, volunteer or representative will from now on result in a warning, then a banning if repeated.
This is effective immediately.
Regards,
The here.com Communities team.

FS is shut as well - I think it must be all the fora under "Gerenal Chat" - someone said that Hobbies was shut as well - the hotbed of dissent it is ;) :D

NO.2. ask :
Tatty Devine shoe earrings...
What do people think of these? I'm tempted to get the ones on the left- black with purple 'insoles'. Saw them in a shop today, reduced from £50 to £39, more than I'd usually spend on earrings but maybe as a treat when I get paid...
Answer:
I'm not sure If I really like these.
They scream Cheap at me!!
I certainly wouldn't pay £40 for them:eek:
What would you wear them with Karina?
Answer:
Thanks for the reply :)
You're right, they do look pretty cheap in the picture but I do think they're cute. Hadn't really thought about what I'd wear them with... anything really...
Answer:
Before you buy them have a look in places such as Claires accessories. You might find a cheaper version there?
Oh, and out of interest I'd go for the black one's too
Brown velvet/cord blazer
NO.3. ask :
Brown velvet/cord blazer
Hello girls!
Anyone seen a cheap chocolate brown velvet or cord blazer? We're talking thirty quid tops here due to over enthusiastic Primark visits earlier this month! There were some lovely ones in the Kookai sale but they were made out of really lovely soft velvet which would have been wrecked within a fortnight - mine will need to be made out of something a bit tougher!
Thanks!

Answer:
My housemates bought me a GORGEOUS one from Per Una last week for my birthday
It was lovely material (dark brown, soft kind of moleskin/velevt sort of thing) and apparently it was in the sale - I don't think it can have cost that much because I would kill them if they spent more than a tenner each on me!
It came with a removable corsage in the same material. It's one of the nicest presents I ever got.
Answer:
I was going to say Per Una/M S! Have a look @ this one:

auction sniper
NO.4. ask :
auction sniper
Someone mentioned using auction sniper recently here. I'm sick of bidding wars on ebay and rather than stay up till all hours waiting to bid, this sounds like a solution :)
I did a google and found heaps of them to download. As I've had a bad experience recently with spyware and viruses I'm a bit cautious about downloading - so can any baggers recommend a site to me? thanks!
Also the one I looked at asked me for ebay password etc - is that safe??
Answer:
Hi Rosie
use www.auctionsniper.com. It's really good and if you say I introduced you you'll get some free snipes and I think I will too! My username is toosh4 - good luck!!!
Answer:
thanks Toosh - I've put your name in as my source :)
Answer:
ooh, I recommend auctionsniper too - someone name me! my ebay name is boogiebag (of course).
Don't worry about giving your ebay password, they need this so they can bid on your behalf. It's quite safe.

thanks Toosh - I've put your name in as my source :)
Great - have fun!
