Timberland boots?

NO.1. Ask :
Timberland boots?
I'm after some timberland, or maybe even caterpillar boots (my tootsies are just about to drop off from the cold my converse are letting in at the minute). Anyone know anywhere I might be able to get them cheaper (£80 is a bit over my budget).
I'm in London so anywhere in the centre would be ideal, i seem to have missed most of the sales though. Any suggestions?
Cheers
Lisa

Answer:
I bought mine from the schuh sale on-line a couple of years back... I reckon they cost about a tenner to post as they're so heavy they arrived by courier anyway... they were £30 with free postage... wore them today!
Anyway, the best I can suggest is try an outlet centre... Mr Yingers bought a men's pair from a sole trader outlet at Freeport, they were £70 down from £120, I didn't see if they had them in women's but i'd imagine they'd be a bit cheaper... either that or if your feet are small enough try the children's department, kids timberlands are definitely cheaper than adults and go up to a size 5.

Yeah they are ladies ones, not kids and I still can't believe it myself. Mr Yingers is still kicking himself for not buying the men's equivalent at the time for £50.
The quality is so much better than cat boots, I've had some before and they were nowhere near as good as timberland... these will go for years... I've had them a couple of years and they are as good as new.

What does everyone think of this skirt?
I'm usually a jeans kinda girl but would love to look a little bit more feminine this summer. Also do you think these skirts look ok on taller girls, i'm 5'9-5'10 and always imagine them on short petite girls in stead of a tall curvier girl:o

Just to add it would be just over the knee length on me:) Thanks!
    Answer:
Lovely... but EVERYONE's going to be wearing those (Including me :o )
Any length from the knee down looks ok IMO.
    Answer:
Everyone does seem to be wearing them don't they :o
Then again as long as it looks good on the individual and you in yourself feel good, who cares:p
Think i'm a bit scared as it's so different to what i would wear, need someone to give me a push:lol:
    Answer:
*shove* just go for it :D
    Answer:
    Thanks :D
I think seeing near enough the same thing on the river island website for double the price has helped pursuade me :great:

What is happening to this forum?!!!
Is it just me or has this fashion forum just hit an all time low recently? Given the events of last week, I don't suppose that helped but I can't help but feeling that this forum has been going seriously downhill over the last few months.
I've been back on this forum for about 18 months now and i've not known it to be so bad
    :( :( :(
    What is happening???
    Answer:
In what way do you feel it's gone downhill, Yingers?
I do think there is less of a community feel than there was several months ago when there were quite a few well-liked regulars who got on really well. Maybe back then it was more, dare I say it, cliquey? But not in a bad way. I pop in and out quite regularly but I don't think I post enough to really notice the ups and downs too much. I guess it has been a bit slow recently but no doubt it will pick up again.
    Answer:
What happened last week? My computer has been knackered for the last week or so, so I missed out....
    Answer:
A lot of regulars from this and other forums finally got fed up with Modesty's shit and moved to better places.
I certainly can't bring myself to post much on HB after all that's gone on.
    Answer:
All i know is I've actually been getting some work done this week....HB must be going downhill!

Hi Ladies - as subject suggests i am trying to find a shirt that ms did last year with like an italian/riviera print all over, if anyones has one i'd love it if you could tell me whatit was called ( for ebay search - have tried ''riviera/ms etc but just cannot find on ebay ) or in fact if anyone has one in a size 12 that they would be willing to part with for a negotiable rate ? Many, many thanks xx
    Answer:
Call MS and see if they could email you an old photo from their website.
    Answer:
thanks for your reply trissca - i will give that go -cheersx
    Answer:
I think I have the skirt in this print from your description - I've never worn it so it may well still have the tags with descriptions on it.
I'd be happy to look for it and tell you any details I can find on the labels or take a photo if it will help.
    Answer:
I noticed that PInk Soda (stocked in House of Fraser, Selfridegs etc) are doing skirts like this at the moment. Not sure if that helps, but I remembered your post when I saw them so thought I'd let you know.

    Spring/Summer Fashion
    Hi Baggers!
I'm over here in Canada missing the UK !! i SO miss all the trends and we don't have most of them here.
I've been back for 6 months and have kind of been out of the fashion seen. (i'm a mess lol)
Can you guys help me out and tell me whats hot for Spring and Summer? ? ?
I've seen mags and tried to find info on this forum but i think asking people who are exposed to it EVERY DAY would give me a better perspective!
So what is on eveyones have to have list ??

    Answer:
I'll mostly be wearing linen trousers, skirts (including my lovely new HM gypsy ones), flip flops, pretty much like most summers, and indian khussa shoes.
Colour wise I also like turquoise green for the next season.
    Answer:
I definitely agree about greens this year. My thoughts are: wide brown belt, brown slouchy leather bag, green shrug/cardigan, roll-up khaki trousers, plain white tees (as always!), beads/wooden bangles, gypsy skirt.
