um.... I actually got one from marks and spencers a few months ago. It was part cashmere, really soft and I think I paid about £30 for it. I got it in grey, but they had other colours too.

Another vote for MS! I got a lovely slouchy oversize off-shoulder in wool/angora blend from their Limited Collection before Xmas. (It was £39.50) Probably can't get the same one now, but MS always has plenty of jumpers!

I found one by Levi's in the January sales this year - pale grey wool/angora, with little ties on the shoulders to let you moderate how off-the-shoulder you wanted it to be. There were black ones as well. I don't live in the UK so I don't know about availability there, but you could always ask in a Levi's store or concession.

Yey I love my pink wellies! Was so excited this morning when I opened the curtains and there was SNOW! I've got them on with my jeans tucked in and my stripy knee high socks!
I got to the station this morning and a woman in yellow ones grabbed me and we danced around the station - we are a bit mad in Crystal Palace!

It was snowing here last night but not enough!! I was hoping they'd be loads so I could phone up work and say its too dangerous too drive in!! I did wear my wellies this morning though, just to walk my dog!! My dad bought them for me from Camden Market - they're really bright and have a comic strip design all over them! A woman this morning said they were very funky :yay:

They call it regular, but I reckon it's still at least 32" inside leg as they are still far too long for me.

Hello ladies,
Don’t venture into fashion often but need some advice. I have a date on Friday and I am not sure what to wear. I need to wear heels as my date is about 6’3’’ and I am only 5’5’’. So I was thinking jeans, brown high heels boots and I have this absolutely stunning velvet jacket which belonged to my Mum (back in the early 70's) – it’s dark blue and the cut is beautiful… the problem is that I do need to wear something underneath it – what would you suggest??

Colourwise, I'd go for turquoise, aqua, pinks, jewel colours or lilacs. Metallics could look fabulous too...
If you're going somewhere posh, I'd try a gorgeous cami or embellished vest; if you want to dress it down a bit more, a plain T shirt or fine-knit jumper and a funky belt could work. Depending on the length and cut of the jacket, you could also wear a longish halternecked top and sling a cool belt over it for a more boho feel.
Hm, hope tbat helps - no more ideas seem able to make it through the haze of cold germs!

I'm with the cami idea as well. It'll look gorgeous when you take the jacket off, and with jeans, won't look overdressed.
