Please help me find some black Boots!
I am in desperate need of a new pair of black boots
I need to be able to wear them for work and with jeans etc So basically, a staple pair of Boots
I have looked around for them alot but the ones I see are either too chunky, with a thick heal, or too something else:lol:
They need to be quite plain, but also nice!!
 Sorry for my description:lol:
The closest ones I found were here (top right, in black):

But there's something not that right about them!!!
Please help!!
Answer:
I like them Catpaws! The heel is lovely - not too high...
Obvious I know, but have you tried Clarks? Some of their stuff is really funky now.
Or how about these or these
and these are particularly luscious!

need new tote/brief bag - suggestions?

need new tote/brief bag - suggestions?
Hi all,
I am in the market for a new totebag/briefbag type thing. Has to be able to carry A4 files, papers and binders. I currently have this tote in all black. I like the size, but I am tired of always having to carry a black bag. I would like something in brown or maybe tan.
I've been considering some of the bags from Vanilla, either the Birkin style or one of the Mulberry styles, in the large size. Any other suggestions, either style-wize or color? I want to be able to carry it in all seasons, which is why I can't decide between brown or tan.
Thanks for any help!
Steph
Answer:
1 Attachment(s) I love love love the mulberry jacquetta - but dash the £495 price tag, the HKBL can whip you up one of these for about £60 less postage.
I'm hoping to get one of these made in white leather.

How do you get on with your Balenciaga Messenger? Are you pleased with it?
I'm very close to ordering a pale grey one :cmdunno:
ETA: oh shoot, I think I remember her saying she was flying this afternoon
Answer:
I think she's very happy with it. I believe it's a men's Besace that she has btw.
Answer:
Thanks Loony. One of the sites she recommended has the Messenger in pale grey as they don't have a City. I don't think I'm going to have much luck in finding a pale grey City either so I'm thinking I might just go for this.
Answer:
*bump* as I think Annanas is around this evening :yaright:
Answer:
i am indeed :D

Answer:
OTT and deffo not worth the money... they're the kind of thing you expect free with a magazine or £2.99 from HM not $40 from shopbop.

Jeans advice
Hi
I am new to here after some advice (mainly lurk, v rarely post).
I want to get some new jeans and am not bothered about the cost, but just to get some good fitting ones.
I am 5" 2 a size 10, but have big boobs (D cup) so I only wear boot cut or flared jeans to balance me out.
I also want hipster ones - I have no bum to speak of but am full waisted (no real difference between size of waist size of hips).
Can anyone recommend a good brand that I can try?

Answer:
Im the same size as you and same hight and get my jeans from Topshop and Oasis. I also find earl jeans fit me nice.
xx
Answer:
HM have got some REALLY lovely jeans at the moment very reasonably priced and have an offer on so you save £15 if you buy two pairs.
The only problem is some of them come up REALLY long.
I saw a pair in there yesterday which sound like they would suit you - they are flared at the bottom, really nice soft denim, hipster and they come in a 30" leg as well as the 32"!! I want to get a pair but they didnt have my waist size in my local branch :(
Answer:
I am a little short too (1.62m) and I find the easiest thing is to concentrate on getting the jeans that fit me around the waist/hips/ass best, and then get them shortened to fit the shoes that I plan to wear with them - obviously you'll have to be a bit careful with this to make sure that you preserve the bootleg part of the jeans, but in general I've had no problems.
Brands (that I can think of):
*7 for all Mankind (7FAMK) many threads on this here, you would be best off doing a search. Bootcut is quite narrow, perhaps try flared??
*Joe's Jeans
*Lee's
Answer:
I've done the rounds with Jeans, but have just bought a pair of James Jeans and they are a fantastic fit. The pair I have are slightly boot cut, and are low slung, but not so low that your a**se is hanging out. I thoroughly recommend them
