My friends wedding jewellery! I made it in the end!
3 Attachment(s) Hey Guys!
Just thought I would post a wee piccie of my friend's jewellery that I asked for some advice on making.
Even if I do say so myself... it's really beautiful!:o The bracelet is exactly the same as the necklace. Also made some beautiful sworovski starfish earrings too!
She is getting married in Thailand on the beach and she is not wearing any shoes, only 1 footless sandal. It's an idea if any of you are getting married on the beach!

Thanks for your help!

Answer:
Georgeous jewellery fabby Doh Dah! Your friend must be really pleased.

I'd love to be able to make my own jewellery but wouldn't have a clue where to start.
Answer:
That is absolutely gorgeous hun - your friend is a very lucky lady!
Answer:
Yep totally agree with the others. Gorgeous and unique, what more could she want on her wedding day?

    Ravel bags
Just felt I had to post and say that I went there today and they had a really nice selection of bags. It's not normally somewhere I'd think of looking but I went in on the off chance.
I bought a small silver leather here there for £23 (bargain!) which was exactly what I was looking for.
Lots of Mulberry-inspired numbers in leather and suede too.
    :)
    Answer:
Yep, I've been hot on Ravel bags for about 2 years now. They have really nice bags.
There was an olive green leather one, again Mulberry inspired that I saw a few months ago. It also came in burgundy and black too but wasn't so 'obvious' in copying Mulberry so they got an extra thumbs up from me!

T Shirts with 3/4 length sleeves
Anyone got any recs for the best places to buy tshirts with 3/4 length sleeves?
    Answer:
I 'spose it depends on what sort of quality you're looking for/money you are prepared to pay.
Being a skint student who normally wrecks clothes by spilling things on them, I tend to buy mine from HM or Primark, both normally have a really good range of basic tees with sleeves in all lengths.
If you are looking for something of a little better quality, I'd suggest trying MS?
    I dunno where else, sorry!
    Answer:
Thanks, my budget is more H M I think!
    Answer:
They have lots in different colours at the moment at bargainious prices :)
I think I just inveneted a word
    Answer:
I always get mine from HM but having said that I am quite picky and they have to be the right fabric, neckline, colour, etc. so I don't buy them that often. I love 3/4 length sleeve tops and don't find them very often but when I do I stock up on them.
I also got a couple of cheap cheerful ones from Sainsbury's clothing range TU recently. They are pretty good quality and they wear wash well.

    NO.4. ask :
    New Look gold here
I don't know if anyone of you have seen this on your travels - it's a fairly small rectangular plain gold (not leather, obviously) here with a strap - probably just long enough to go over a shoulder.
I love the gold bags this season, but I'm not sure I want a big one; this one looks about the right size. I saw it as I was scampering out of the store and didn't have time to scrutinise it closely, but on first glance it looked quite nice. If anyone's seen it, what did they think about it?
    Cheers!

    Answer:
there is a new NL opening near me tomorrow - I will go in and have a look and let you know!
    Answer:
I think New Look have some great bags so I'd imagine the style is quite nice. BUT it's just my opinion but I don't really like metallic bags that aren't in leather - just think they can end up looking a bit tacky.
If you're looking for a nice leather one that doesn't cost the earth I did see a gorgeous gold leather one in TopShop today though - it was small, sort of ruched and had a plaited handle. It was only £18 and I was very tempted but I'd just bought my silver bag!(see Ravel bags post).

Oo, I haven't seen that one - sounds really nice...

    Answer:
don't say that! I really wanted to get both!
In the end I decided to keep the silver as it was a bit bigger. The gold was still big enough for a mobile, money and a bit of make-up though. They also did it in a bigger size which was lovely too.
