Frye style boots with skirts
Boots are that yellowy, camel etc. Skirt - not sure. But what colour tights are you supposed to wear? Black???
Answer:
Depends on the skirt, but whatever you fancy, really! With denim, how about black, brown, burgundy or green? You could also try teal or turquoise if you're feeling adventurous. I tend not to wear brownopqaue tights with a brown skirt that often because I think it looks a bit samey, but that's just a personal preference.
Hope that helps!

Answer:
I have worn black and it looks ok personal preference really
I'm becoming a bit of a New Look fan!
NO.4. ask :
I'm becoming a bit of a New Look fan!
Is it just me or is it getting better?
I never used to like it, or find anything worth getting from there, except jogging bottoms occasionly...
But recently I find myself going there on quite a few of my lunch breaks.
I've love the £5/£10 shoe sales they have and have managed to find quite a few items of clothing I've thought 'worthy of purchase'.
I used to think it was rubbish, then overpriced rubbish (when their prices went up a bit) and now... not too bad really.
Now, my newfound appreciation for New Look may be founded on it being one of the best clothes shops in Stafford (yes, it's bad, however, a TK maxx has just opened...) where I'm currently working/at uni, and working in town mon-fri with an hour for lunch.
Answer:
Nothing constructive to add on the new look front, ( find the floor too hard to walk on in heels - random i know) but just wanted to say im from stafford too!
Answer:
I'm from Birmingham, just in Stafford for uni! (Sorry, I just really despise Stafford sometimes!) I don't think I've been in there with heels, I can imagine it being tricky though, the floor is a bit shiny... I wear my trainers on my lunchtime shopping trips, so I can get it done as soon as possible and get back to the office with maximum gameboy playing time for the rest of my lunch hour!
Answer:
Oh god its rubbish isnt it, Its shocking when the best/only place to go out in town is zanzibar!
Answer:
It is awful, didn't want to say that straight away incase I offended you though!
Since a particulary bad night out at Zanzibar in my first year at uni I vowed never to go again! And I haven't...
Last year I even lived literally 3 mins walk away but never went. Oh how I hate that Zanzibar!
Wearing skirts/dresses
NO.5. ask :
Wearing skirts/dresses
I asked this in general a few days ago, I thought I would ask it here too
Unlike everyone I know I do not wear trousers. I like wearing dresses, skirts and unless I am meeting clients my skirts tend to be mini skirts/dresses all year round. I feel freer wearing skirts, sexier.
I wear trousers when mountain walking, skiing and other such situations, but in the evening I will change into a dress or skirt.
I like wearing dresses but every year it gets harder to buy nice dresses.
So anyone else
Answer:
I think I'm pretty much the opposite. I do feel girly and floaty in a nice skirt but I just don't have the legs for it. My legs are short, and very pale, I don't like showing them, especially my knees, but if I wear skirts much longer than that they swamp me. I mostly wear jeans, I have a pair for every occasion.
Answer:
Like LM, i don't really like my legs... they are short large and I feel alot more comfortable wearing trousers. I do love skirts though and try wear them when I can (usually when I feel llike it, which is not that often) but I agree about dresses, there aren't alot around that you can wear easily casually.
It's also rare that you see people wear dresses alot.
Answer:
I love wearing skirts! About 5 years ago I used to own hardly any, now I wear them pretty much all the time at weekends. Would wear them more in the week, they just aren't that practical in winter, (well anytime that isn't summer cos I am wimp when it comes to the cold) for walking the kids to school or standing in the playground for an hour at dinnerladying. Saying that I am wearing a long skirt today, but with tights, 2 pairs of socks and boots.
Don't really wear short skirts much, again mainly cos I'am a wimp, plus can't be bothered shaving everyday, although i tend to epilate.
want to go and buy myself a new skirt at weekend to go with my new boots, so I think it may be a trip down to primark
Answer:
Hello! I hardly ever trousers either! (and I don't own a pair of jeans and haven't in 4 years!)
I'm 5 ft 1 and pear shaped and hardly ever fit trousers that fit or flatter my shape, whereas I feel really good in skirts. I have hardwearing cord and denim skirts that I wear as one would jeans, day in day out.
I have some pairs of trousers that I wear though - my favourite baggy cords which I love mooching about in, and wear to gigs and indie club nights, and a few pairs of smart wide legged trousers that I wear with wrap dresses or pretty tops if I'm temping etc. But I feel most myself in skirts, definitely!
Because of my shape (size 12 on top and 14 on bottom) I never find dresses that fit, I think most dresses are designed for people with more evenly balanced figures!
