Converse dilemma

Converse dilemma
Am torn between these 2 pairs. What does everyone reckon?
Grey and pink converse
These ones have funky pink inside and underside of tongue which you can't really see in the pic.
Khaki and pink converse
I really like them both but wouldn't want to buy 2 pairs so similar!
x
Answer:
I prefer the grey and pink but that's only because I have the grey and yellow which are identical accept for where it's pink it's well...umm...yellow;)
I've seen the first pair on I really like them hve you thought about what you will wear them with and where? May help you make your decision.
Answer:
Yep the grey and yellow are great too. A good choice.
I imagine I'll be mainly wearing them with jeans and possibly cropped combats so both would go.
Just out of interest, what else do you wear yours with?
Answer:
The grey and pink look nicest. :)
I'm quite liking the cow print ones. Snazzy!

    Going to San Fran
Hello All!!! I'm going to be in San Fran over Easter and wanted to do some shopping! I have a couple of questions:
    1) Does anyone know the shop closure dates? Will they be open on all dates apart from the Sunday?
    2) What shops are there?
Any other advice gratefully received!! :D
    Answer:
God I love San Fran...brilliant place to shop you Bloomingdales, Abercrombie Fitch you'll have a ball. But for me the best place to shop for really cool and vintage is Haight Ashbury. You take a bus or tram from Market street. Everyone knows it.
The best part is that most of the vintage shops sell by the weight I ended up buying three really cool vintage jackets for $25.00.
Also make sure you check out China Town, Alcatraz, The Bay Bridge is beautiful espicially if you go over it at night and see the San Fran skyline. The Golden Gate Bridge and Salsilito(sp).
Have fun and enjoy yourself you lucky thing. ;)
    Answer:
    Oooh! Thanks Celondelon!
    Anyone else got any recs?
    Answer:
Haight Ashbury is very cool - I don't have time to go there, last time (sniff)...
However around the Market and Union Square-Powell St area:
department stores: Macy's, Nordstroms, good for jeans (7FAMK retail for about 130-170$, CC tops about 40-50$, remember there's 15% sales tax on top, this is the case for all the stores)
Abercrombie and Gap (much cheaper than in the UK) for inexpensive basics. I'm not a fan of Old Navy and American Eagle but some people like the stuff there, like Gap but generally cheaper.
Banana Republic and Anthropologie are slightly more upmarket, and Urban Outfitters is a bit edgier (my fave! :yay: ). There's also a Birkinstock store which has a great selection (if you want to try on rather than go online they give good adivice about selecting the best fit). There's a French Connection which probably has the same stock as the UK ones, but the prices are lower.
There are of course a lot of high-end stores, like a Coach one for example, but I didn't investigate them.
    Answer:
Thanks Kelda! Totally forgot about Urban Outfitters - they're my fave too! :D :D :D

    hiya
im sick of wearing trousers that drag along the floor, any ideas were they do some good petite jeans/trousers, for a reasonable price, not twice the price of regular trousers.
    cheers x
    Answer:
Ha I am a midget and ill wait with baited breath for some knowledgable fashionistas to respond .....
    Answer:
Try Next. I am also a "woman below 5 feet 3 in" and next fits me alright. MS short range is also good, if you can get the size!
    Answer:
Dorothy perkins also have a petite range
    and maybe topshop?
    Answer:
Forget petite ranges... just have them taken up! If you can do them yourself you can save yourself so much money.
I have found too much variation in petite or short length ranges... they're a joke... I've tried next petite stuff before and it's about an inch too short... I buy shorter length troos in River Island and they are still 2 inches too long

    Derby!
I was in there at the weekend and it was just awful. I usually go to the Hammersmith or Harrow ones and this was just horrid. I couldn't find a single thing. The front of the store looked as though it had been ransacked and it was full of pram faced types and screaming children. The only saving grace was their bag section was prob the biggest one I'd seen.
For once I walked out of there having bought absolutely nothing. I'm not surprised that some people think it's a bit chavcentral.
I'm going to the Hammersmith one on Friday just to calm my nerves!
    Answer:
I was in there at the weekend and thinking exactly the same thing - I got a bag and some fishnet knee-highs for under trousers for work.
I was soooo looking forward to going and ended up disappointed. The had nothing exciting. :(
    Answer:
I live in Derby and its the only one i've ever been to so i can't compare, which ones would you recommend??
Oh and i just want to point out Derby isn't just full of chavs and screaming kids....its quite a nice city really...:o :)
    Answer:
I think the one in Darlington is pretty damn dire, it's crammed with utter CRAP and they still have in there the black and white linen embroidered flower skirts from last year!
I've never seen so many acrylic jumpers in my LIFE  and don't even get me started on the static shocks if you touch anything!
In fact i have only ever bought socks in there.

I know it isn't, I'm sorry I didn't mean to give the impression that Derby was like that. I was there to see some friends and the in-laws. It's a lovely place - it's just that all the chavs are crammed into Primark and spilling out into the eagle (evil!) centre!!
