Berluddy Gap advert

NO.1. Ask :
Berluddy Gap advert
Please someone tell me I'm not the only one that gets really wound up by that Gap advert with Sarah Jessica Parker singing:mad: God its so sickening, all that pink, flowers and what 30 year old woman calls herself a girl:rant: God just thinkin of it annoys me!
The clothes aren't even that nice, once again Gap have sat on the fence dividing bland and bland but in pastels:banghead:
Sorry, but
 Anyone else?
Answer:
Did you just watch it during the Hollyoakes ad break??
It doesn't annoy me as much as it did when it first came on but it still annoys me
ETA: I like the suit in the ad.
Answer:
 Yes I was enjoying Hollyoaks until it came on! The advert still really bothers me, even though I've seen it hundreds of times!
Answer:
I like it. :D
Answer:
Isn't she nearly 40 ? And she looks like a horse. Definitely not a 'girl'. Luckily though, I've not seen the ad yet, but someone tie my hands behind my back so I can't throw a shoe at the telly when I do.

    Oasis Slouch Metallic Shopper
Does anyone have this bag? Or has anyone seen it in a store? It's on the website and it's only £25. Been looking for something similar but in leather, also really wanted gold, but this one doesn't look too 'silvery' if that makes sense! Really like the shape of it. Any thoughts?
    Ta x
    Answer:
I :throb: slouch bags but looking on the website i dont think this silver one's as nice as classic brown leather, or some of the green shades ive seen them in recently. Maybe im just dull in my tastes though, and it might be gorgeous in the flesh!
    Bun x
    Answer:
I already have a tan leather slouchy bag as well as a pewter one, I definitely one a gold - or possibly silvery gold - one next! There was a nice one in Topshop for £50, but my local store doesn't have them, and they were probably a bit smaller than the kind I'm looking for. I'm sure I'll get to Oasis over the next couple of days to see if they have this one...
    Answer:
I already have a tan leather slouchy bag as well as a pewter one
Sounds like a metallic one would be a good addition to your collection then! Have you seen the 'product finder' feature on the website? Would be worth a go to save you getting to the store only to find they dont have it.
    Bun x
    Answer:
Hello! I was in Oasis Covent Garden on Monday and they have metallic slouchy bags in leather there for £50, and tan as well! I really want the tan one...
In fact they had an impressive selection of leather bags in general...

    :o
Momentary fashion sense crisis.... I just won this top on Ebay. It was really really cheap, so if it is horrid then it doesnt matter that much! I adore bell sleeves, but wonder if this is OTT? I got it in an oat/light gold colour. If I wear it with jeans during the day.... will it look nice, or vile? Would you stare? lol
I am a decisive person, but am worried I will feel self conscious and look like a crazy hippy!
ETA: might help if I attach the pic. Hang on a minute.
    Answer:
    1 Attachment(s) Here we are....
    Answer:
I love that type of flowy top but to me the sleeves are a tad scary :) However i wouldnt run screaming or stare if i saw someone wearing it, and its not tye-dyed so you wont look like too much of a crazy hippy! :hippy:
    Answer:
I have one of those in white, and I must admit that every time I put it on I do feel a bit like a mad hippy.
It looks nice on, and I get compliments, but the sleeves dip into everything, so don't wear it if you plan to eat.
I've dipped the sleeves in dressing, ketchup, gravy etc..
    Lovely:p
Erm yeah so I kindof like it, but it's mega impractical.
    Answer:
Yay! You know how easy it is to get carried away on Ebay in the last 10 minutes of an auction. Its only after I find, that I tend to think 'hmmmmmm.....'
I figured it would be quite difficult to eat whilst wearing it, Miss Sweetcheeks.... I am fully expecting  and  from people! :p

Do you think it's just too old hat ('scuse the pun :D ) to get a fedora style hat?
I wasn't looking for one, but Mr Mitchey and myself were in Nicole Farhi (sooooo not my sort of shop, it was for him!) on Saturday and I went for a shifty around the ladies wear and tried it on. It looked really good and he liked it (although a bit pricey :( )
I was planning on going back to get it this week but now I'm worried it's jumping on the bandwagon a bit late
    What do you think?
    Answer:
I have had one all summer and worn it a lot, but was going to put it to bed now and get different hats for winter. There are a lot of nice ones, trilbys and I am loving cloche hats too.
    What fabric?
    Answer:
Thick black felt/wool, tips slightly over one eye. Def a winter one!
It's nice and solid! Not sure what it is, trilby/fedora hibred?!
    Answer:
I'd say go for it if the shape suited you, better to wear a hat shape that flatters than just cos its fashionable.
    Answer:
I think they are nice myself. Experiment a little with the positioning of the hats and your outfits so that you don't look too much like a bad detective movie.

    Fashion files
Did a search and I know I'm not alone with this one! Who else keeps pictures and magazine articles etc in a file/ scrapbook?! I have one of these 'I am what I wear' shopping journals. This has loads of pictures of clothes etc I've seen in magazines and want/ already have etc. I also started to write lists of clothes I have which would have been quite useful if I hadn't got bored halfway through! I also have a ringbinder full of magazine articles. Went through a load of magazines last weekend, have just kept Instyle, Vogue and Elle from the past year, any older ones I just kept the good articles from. I've also printed some of the better stylediary articles off and put them in.
    So... who else does this??
    Answer:
Have to confess karina too, i am one of these people who cuts out articles from mags such as vogue, glamour, marie claire etc, and keep them in a scrap book which i get from paperchase.
I also have a seperate on for make up, beauty too!!:o
    Answer:
Not exactly that, I just have pictures of all my shoes and a little book that lists each pair so I know what I've got. I've kept all the magazines I've bought (and that's a lot !) for about the past 2 or 3 years, because I don't like cutting things out and ruining them !
    Answer:
I remember sushiflower talking about this sometime last year and how she has been doing it for years... i think it's a great idea and wish I started years ago so I could look back now and see how my fashion eye (if you like) has evolved over time.
I don't really read many mags now and I'm quite boring anyway :o so there wouldn't be much point in me starting one of these even though I love the idea :(
    Answer:
I have 2 beauty notebooks that are full now filled with eyeshadow, lipgloss and lippy shades and various foundations that I want to try.
I have a HG section filled with beauty and skincare products that have worked fabulously so I'll never forget.
I don't have one for clothes though. I just rip out pages of clothes I want in mags occasionally.
