well its knee length but they had so many different styles in there and different lengths ranging from £6 to £10 in loads of colours. I am going to go back and get some more :)

went shopping round about lunch time felt brilliant, also felt bizarre being able to walk around the shops in a vest top and cropped jeans and be warm in march :eek:

nothing worse in winter than wearing loads of layers outside to be blasted with red hot air in every shop and feel sick in your many layers.... so you have to take them off, and then put them on again :lol:

I got a bit carried away and bought two summer bags, a tshirt, a white gypsy skirt and some flipflops and other stuff (see what have you bought this week thread :D )

The weather today was my absolubtely favourite kind - warm and sunny, not too hot or cold. The kind of weather when you can dress to look stylish, not to stay warm or stay cool. Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons.

The hot weather is bringing me around to the idea of ballet flats and other flat shoes that you can wear with bare legs, however I tend to get hot feet (sorry!) and would like to wear cotton footsies.
I am thinking of something that is much lower/smaller than a trainer sock.
Any ideas?

I've never heard of cotton ones either... i'd use the nude stretch knocks you can get anyway, I suppose it's better than nothing. Either that or try cotton top insoles?
They might make the shoes a slight bit tight at first but they should flatten out... this is what I found from some cotton top foam insoles I bought from woolworths recently.

I wanted to ask about the sizing of the Dotty P toe post sandals you bought. I'm a bit hit or miss with TPS's and have found lately they come up slightly small on me. I am a regular size 4/37 - what do you say?
Also wanted to say lucky buddy of yours visiting shanghai... I have never been there.
Some of my bargains to date have included:
HK rugby sevens shirt - bought today for the rip-off price of 5 quid :D !!!
Beaded necklaces/belt thingies - bought 4 of them for about a quid each
whicker/black velvet flipflops for a quid - although i wasn't allowed to try them on and they are too small :mad:
Silver/turquoise necklace - about a fiver and you will love it
zebra print ponyskin/leather boots - less than a score
beaded leather ballet pumps - about 14 quid
Got my leather boots repaired for about 1.50
And just come back from a night out and found a gorgeous oriental floral print bag and a bag of biscuits on my bed, left by my SiL.

She (my friend) says if she hasnt found a job here in 6 moths shes going back!!1 :lol: I might go with her :D

I am usually a straight size 4 - but I have found a lot more in the last year that I have to go a size up with toe post sandals - I have developed a slight phobia to the backs of your foot hanging off the back of the shoe. I do find some size 4 sandals fine, so I just wanted to check if these were true to size.
If you're usually a 5 but sometimes 6, and the 5 is ok, then i'll probably do the same and get the 4. I suppose my best situation would be to try them on too... but if I order on line I can almost guarantee i'll get them, plus 20% off too!

I think you should!!! Although I don't know anything about shanghai... but I did go into shanghai tang in HK today... they have some gorgeous stuff, although some of it is a bit OTT garish.

Oh I can't wait to post my pics too... although there might be a slight delay now, as I sent home a bag full of stuff with my friend who was out here too and is flying back to london as I write! Means I can buy some more stuff!!!
