hold ups
Right, I've got a huge problem.
I have to wear tights to work every day which Is becoming a pain in the arse and will no doubt be worse come summer.
I want some hold ups, but every pair I've tried don't fit.
I'm a size 18 and my legs are quite large:o
The problem I have is they will only stretch to just above my knee and then if they do stretch further then I get the roll down effect
Does anyone know where I can find any or am I gonna have to resort to a suspender belt!

Primark crinkle skirt wanted!
NO.3. ask :
Primark crinkle skirt wanted!
Helloooo! I'm desperate to get hold of the long black crinkle skirt with the rope and wooden belt that was around a few weeks ago. It was selling for £6 and I already have it in white. They haven't got any left in Wakefield, Barnsley or Huddersfield - anyone seen any or have one for sale? Oh they do have them on ebay but I really resent paying over double the Primark price for one!
I'd like a 14 or 16 please!!!

Casual workwear
NO.4. ask :
Casual workwear
I've got a work experience placement at a magazine and I've been told that its its 'casual'
I'm not quite sure what this means, how casual is casual?
Can anyone suggest anything? I don't want to be too dressy but I don't want to go too casual either. I need an inbetween.
Answer:
In the media casual usually means you can wear jeans but I wouldn't on the first day.
What do you wear normally at the weekends?
Answer:
Smart jeans, usually classic indigo bootcuts, blazer and pretty cami underneath is always a good option in these kind of trendy, casual work environments. Then accsessorise with belt, bag, pretty pumps etc...
If I can refer you to the here fashion pages, Hero Brown addresses this question well in her QA pages- it's a recent enquiry from a girl who hasn't bought many clothes for a while and is after advice on wardrobe staples. There's also an article on interview outfits for different types of industries in the fashion pages which would be relevant to you.
Answer:
If it was me, I would play it safe and wear smart-ish trousers and a nice top... nothing too smart and nothing too casual... then check out what everyone else is wearing.
I wore a suit for the first week of my job... I've never worn one to work again, except for once when we had some very important customers over. If I have visitors or something I used to put a shirt on with smart black trousers and smart shoes.
Answer:
Lady Daisy, I had a look for that article you mentioned but couldn't find it. Is it a recent one?
I've got another work placement at a magazine in January and they've sent details out of what their casual wear is - jeans, trainers, etc.
I don't want to go in jeans and trainers in case this magazines definition of casual isn't quite so casual.
I'm really stuck! I don't want to go to smart and stand out if everyone is in jeans and trainers but I don't want to give a bad impression and look scruffy on my first day either.
Roxy: Vanilla vs Lush
NO.5. ask :
Roxy: Vanilla vs Lush
Does anyone have either version? Any feedback on what the look, leather and quality are like please?
Can't quite stretch to full retail price! :)
Answer:
Hi Randy,
I have the Lush version, and have also seen the Vanilla one in the flesh. I prefer my Lush one as I think the shape and in particular the handles are far more similar to the actual Mulberry one. The Vanilla one seems to have rather long handles. It does come in more colours and some of the leather seems a bit nicer than Lush.
Overall, I am really happy with my Lush version, and have had a fair few compliments about it.
