Hey ladies, been looking for some nice summery tops for when it warms up (pplleaasssssse warm up!!!) What are your opinions on these?
I'm a bit unsure on the apple halterneck but its soooo cute!
Thanx:)
AMP
Answer:
I'm not sure about the halter neck either I have a boob tube from Kitten with a simlar print, but don't really wear it.....
I love the cardi though - it's a lovely colour - where's it from?
xx
Answer:
Ooooh, I like them!
I'm not 100% about the apple one, especially the stripy bit at the top - I'd have to see it on to be sure - but the rest are really nice. Where's the purple one from, if you don't mind me asking? I've been trying to find something like that for ages. And I really like the sequinned one - I want it!!
What do you intend wearing them with?

    Hello,
Have decided to treat my self to a new pair of designer sunnies but am completely lost!
Was browsing in Selfrdgies yday and really couldnt make my mind up whether to buy the aviator rimless style or the bigger tortoise shell style
Would like to buy something I can wear next year too as am looking to spend 100-125
What are you girls going to be getting?
    Thanks :)

    Answer:
Don't even ask - I'm having a stress about it still.
    Answer:
i've decided to sell some of last years chanel sunnies cos i dont think i'll get much wear out of them this year and could put the money to good use on a new pair
i have the perfect image in my head for this years sunnies but still have to find them.... they are plastic rimmed this year, as i'm bored with all my frameless ones
    Answer:
Oooh hard choice, I have some old Chloe aviators which I still wear occassionally, but my default glassses (the ones that are always in my bag) are huge tortoiseshell Oliver Peoples ones which seem to look good with everything. That said I'm hoping to get something a bit different this year, but everywhere seems to be stocking huge retro frames.
For practicality I'd go with the tortoiseshell, but for bad girl style the aviators.......... I suppose it depends on the look you're after.

I bought some big linda farrow type YSL ones in january - not sure why I felt compelled to buy them in the middle of winter, but hey ho. Haven't even worn them yet, not even when I was on holiday!
Hopefully I will still like them when the sun finally comes out here. I think they will go well with these short shorts and white dress I got in Miami at the weekend. Hope so!

    Hello ladies!
Some of you may remember my post about the duck-egg-blue lacy dress . If you've seen it in the flesh, then what was your opinion of it? I really like it, but according to one person the colour scheme is hideous, the shape makes it look like a maternity dress and the lace looks like the netting on a bag of onions! Now, I really don't think my taste is so bad as to fall for something that hideous, but you never know, it could have been an aberration...
Any views?? Be honest - I can take it!
    g_k
    Answer:
I THINK i've seen this dress in the Covent Garden HM. If its the one I think, I really like the shade of blue, its a very muted greeny-blue with brown that has tones of pink. I did see a whole section of duck-egg blue and taupe and I liked the colours together.
    Answer:
Apart from your flirtation with leopard print hot pants I think you have great taste and I doubt very much that it's hideous :)

*Cackles guiltily* I know, I know. I'm still weirdly tempted by the thought but it's definitely because my brain thinks I'm much longer and leggier than I really am.

Thank you  I'm not quite sure how you reached that conclusion, but it's nice to feel like a style goddess for once!!
Thanks for the replies, girls - I think I'm just going to go and get it and wear it when mr g_k isn't around...

Now I like it being simple but I don't know if it's too simple...
What do you guys think? I've got two silver clasp bags to bead up as well so any imput would be greatly appreciated :)
    Answer:
Very cute... well done you! I don't think it looks too simple and i really like the colours and the beads you've used...
    Answer:
I like it! You're right, it's simple, but I think there's just enough to make it really stand out - love the colours!
Did you make the bag too, or did you buy it? Hmm, I've got some chunky wool to use up...maybe I should knit myself a similar bag *goes scrimmaging off for patterns*...

    Thanks guys :)
I bought the bag because it was a really well made bag and I thought I'd embroider it for myself, but am actually selling it now as I don't think I'll use it and I need money :(
It's actually straw, not knitted :)
What colour beads do you think I should use on silver bags?
    Answer:
    Aaah, I was wondering!
Hmm, colours on silver bags....where to start!? Aqua, blue, pink, lilac, turquoise, transparent silver beads.... I guess it depends on the style of the bags and what you want to wear with them - I suppose a delicate bag would suit delicate subtler colours and a more modern one something more daring, but it would be fun to subvert it a bit and do a delicate vintage bag with flashes of (say) vivid pinks and aquas...the patterning would have to be spot on though!
I must get back to customising stuff - darn PhD.

This is the primark gold sequin shrug that is selling currently in store for £10?
I so wish I had bought more on Saturday!
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...47834 23rd=1
    Answer:
Yup, ebay is littered with them! I was trying to track down a shrug i saw on a girl at college (no luck :() and these were all over the place! Some have buy it now prices of £49.99, some sellers are making loads out of them, and it looks like it's all about the picture and the title..... but more or less every bid is enormous!
It's probably just because they think they're too good for primark and won't go inside and end up wasting loads of money because they just can't find that bolero on the high street, probably think it's from a boutique
    That was a bit bitchy...sorry!
    Answer:
i can't decide whether people just don't know about primark or have more money than sense. If I didn't know about the shop but I saw loads of these gold shrugs allover ebay I would guess they weren't THAT exclusive anyway!
    Answer:
wish I had a primark near me - I love that shrug! and I could make a fortune!

A bit of both I think! I bought four and have sold three of them... Some people have clearly just bought up the whole stock in their local store and are making hundreds!
