Toronto Shopping
Please can anyone help me with recommendations for shops to visit in Canada? We are going to Toronto and obv the first thing I did after boooking was check the US UO website, but apart from that I'm a bit stuck. Is it just the same shops as in the US?
Can anyone offer any reccs of both shops and things to do if you have been?

I've been to Calgary and there were no different shops that I noticed to the USA.. cheaper though! :yay:

i was in toronto at the in june- UO was :faint: though so was the queue for the changing rooms!! i was travelling on to america so i went to 5 UO in two weeks :lol: There was a fab shopping centre across the road from it- the eaton centre - it had a french connection, i thought it was really cheap and the conceirge give me a 20% off card so have a look for one of those if your going. Theres a massive h and m as well which i loved.
I think there was a lot of sales tax, maybe that wasnt toronto though!

First is this one, this is my fave I think its quite cute and funky and as I have black hair blue eyes thought I have to get this :lol:

I like the first t shirt, would look cool with cargo pants. Don't really like the red top, don't know, something I don't like about the pink with red. I like the vest, but not as apple green but the turquoise one in the picture.

Great Universal Essentials have got them in black (order code aa0142), white (aa0143) pink (aa0144). They're £15.00 cotton.
Only problem is that there's no picture on the website. My scanner is knackered so I can't scan the page in. It looks nice enough in the catalogue. If you can get hold of a catalogue it's on page 70.

I buy either Topshop 'Tall' range or else their Maternity range vests. They're easily 4-5 inches shorter than their regular ones. The maternity ones are slightly bigger, so I just go down a size in them.
Mind you, I'm only just 5'3 so maybe they wouldn't be long enough for the leggier ladies.
Says a lot though then regular vests are far too short on somebody of my height! :rolleyes:

Yes it was me! I ended up buying two lightweight summer dresses from HM which I'm going to wear with jeans, a wrap or button up cardi and flip flops when the weather is warm enough to go without a jacket. I'm also looking for a few shorter less girly long cami's too. Lapis I saw a really cool grey sleeveless dress that was just longer then the bottom and had silver beading in rows near the middle and as a trim on the hem, it was in the Topshop originals area.

I had a great one but it "died" :(
It wasn't patchwork or cobbled together and I so need another one in soft leather that is really a "sack bag" or general holdall that is cool enough to take to dinner ...............
