When is the next issue of what to wear out?
Does anybody know?
Thanks,
:)
Answer:
Well the last one came out end of jan/beginning of feb I think and they're supposed to be published every quarter.
The last copy was late though, so I wouldn't know if the next copy is going to be 3 months later (or more!) or if they are going to keep up with their timescale... in which case would mean that it's out soon (doubtful though).
Answer:
I got the new spring/summer one a couple of weeks ago, in a local newsagents.

Who was on the front cover? I think mischa barton was on the last one I bought... I gave my copy to Valentine!
Answer:
Yeah i have got the most recent one with misch barton on the front of it.
So, basically the new one is not due out yet then,
Thanks,
Zoe.:)
Do we like these shoes?
NO.2. ask :
Do we like these shoes?
I was immediately drawn to the gorgeous colour of these shoes today... they also fit me perfectly and were so comfortable. I was very surprised that they looked really nice on... although i'm not 100% keen on the heel and have no idea what they would go with.
Do you like them and have any ideas what I could do with them? I might have to buy as I haven't stopped thinking about them all day :o
Answer:
I really don't like them much.
The colour's beautiful, but the heel, shape and weird flower make them look quiet cheap. Sorry:(
Answer:
Oh dear, I really don't like these at all.
They look a bit cheap, big fat clumpy heel, the flower, oh no no no..
And the ankle strap, don't get me started on that..
Sorry, but intensely dislike them.
Ps. One good thing is the colour.
Answer:
aww no! I thought the flower was the second best part... next to the colour :( !
As i've said, i'm not that keen on the heel either, but I think it actually goes with the shoe... I thought they looked real cute IRL :meh:
Answer:
the colour is goooorgeous :)
im not sure whether they look formal or daywear
i think the heel is too short really for the style :)
Wide leg jeans?
NO.3. ask :
Wide leg jeans?
Hi, I am going shopping this weekend, does someone has any idea where i can purchase a pair of wide leg jeans. Thanks
P.S I am off to oxford street, so any shop near by owuld help.
thanks
Answer:
Loads of places do what I call the "carpenter" jeans now - mine are from French Connection and they're great but I know that NL and Oasis do them as well. Or you could try the "Mooch" jeans from TS that a few of us have. Just make sure you get the right length .... :o :D
Answer:
And if you get Mooch jeans get a snug fit because they expand after the first wear (but shrink back after washing).
I bought the 'correct' fit when first worn but after a couple of hours they stretch and i can take them down without undoing them :o They are lovely jeans though!:yay:
Answer:
I have some french connection wide leg jeans that I bought about 2 years ago and it still irks me when I wear them, because they are a size 14 and I usually wear a 10/12!
They are lovely though.
Help 40+ who doesn't want to look like mutton or mumsy!
NO.4. ask :
Help 40+ who doesn't want to look like mutton or mumsy!
I'll be 41 next month, and feel like the high street has nothing for me!
I'm looking for tops to go with jeans. I'm 5 ft 2 ins, sinze 12, and don't want to expose my belly, thanks very much (not after two children!). The winter was fine, it was bloomin' cold, so three t-shirts and a big jumper did just find. Now the weather is warmer, and I don't have anything nice to wear! I'm not a girly girl, I don't like pink and look horrible in white.
What I'm really saying is "can you dress me"??!
I've got the chance to go shopping on Tuesday, without the ankle biters, so any advice before then would be great.
TIA
Answer:
Hiya have you had a browse through some high street store websites?
www.dorothyperkins.co.uk
www.principles.co.uk
www.oasis-stores.com
www.marksandspencer.co.uk
www.debenhams.co.uk
I like seeing what styles are in the shops at the mo so you can have an idea what you're after before heading out.
Kaftans/sheer tunics are always good over jeans and there are loads around at the mo.
Good luck! x
Answer:
Thanks for your reply bunbunboo. I'm always browsing on the internet! I love a lot of the stuff that's around at the moment, but some of it I remember when it was fashionable the first time round (!), and I am worried I will look like mutton dressed as lamb. I just find a lot of high street shops cater for women in their late teens/early twenties.
I just want to look stylish, without exposing bits of my body that should probably be kept under wraps!
I like the idea of kaftans, but I feel like a big lump if I don't show that I have a waist! I do have one sheer top, which I wear with a little strappy camisole thing underneath, perhaps I should look for some more.
Answer:
Be 40 and proud I'll be 43 in July and am wearing all those 70's fashions with the same zeal as I did the first time round :) A trip to Topshop is like time travel for us.
Sheer kaftan with vest under and chunky belt over is a great look for women of our years. Colour wise I'm currently loving brown, turquoise and lime. I recommend you go to Primark for a whole bundle of basics and Topshop for fab accessories.
Answer:
Thanks pansymouse! I've been looking at all those long skirts that are in now and remembering being 18 again! I'm going to go and have a good try on of everything I like and see what I think! Brown, turquoise and that teal-y colour and my current favourites, too.
I quite like Primark, but find some of their stuff shrinks, perhaps I'm hopeless at washing things?
What to wear with this skirt
NO.5. ask :
What to wear with this skirt
1 Attachment(s) I bought this skirt today... purely because I thought it was so pretty it fit me perfectly...
It didn't really occur to me until I got home that i'm not sure what goes with it as the pale green and yellow would probably quite difficult for me to match.
I'm considering taking it back purely on this basis... they did have the same skirt with black pink flowers instead which I would have bought but they had none in my size  I reckon this one would have been far easier for me to match wear.
Answer:
hi yingers :)
i am loving the skirt, i spotted a similar one is asda (of all places) today when bf went in.
ii would wear it with a plain ish top jazzed up with some pretty jewellery. i think its ace for a wedding or similar summery event. it would also look good with a white shirt for a more worky outfit.
 :)
Answer:
I'd wear it with a pale yellow vest
And either some white flats or 50's style round toed heels:)
Answer:
or 50's style round toed heels
yes, i think so too :) perfect for a wedding ;)
Answer:
Oh and you could also team it with a denim jacket for day wear ;)
