Uggs

NO.1. Ask :
Uggs
Does anyone know where I can buy Ugg Boots online, on a store Europe based (i'm always afraid of customs duties)?
I know it's not the right period of the year for uggs but I'd like to find them for next winter..:D
Thanks
Answer:
Most Fashion baggers have got theirs from - they seem to be the cheapest around (although they've put their prices up a bit - they were £90 last year  Mind you, still a lot cheaper than elsewhere!)
They're not Europe-based, but I don't know of a single person who's had to pay customs on them (and a lot of Baggers have bought them) :D
Answer:
just a word of warning though about hartings- i;ve been trying for ages to get chocolate sunsets (which are 90quid) and they are ALWAYS sold out
Answer:
I'm thinking of getting a pair too, but am worried they'll be 'dated' by this autumn/winter.
They've been in for a few years now, haven't they? Or are they becoming a sort of classic wardrobe staple rather than a fad/fashion?
I'm hopeless when it comes to fashion :o
Advice pls? TIA, g x
Answer:
Thanks
Thanks everyone :D !!
Unfortunately they haven't Sundance or Sunburst boots :boohoo:
Maybe I'll buy Classic Tall as soon as they become available..
I don't know If next winter they will still be in, I hope so...:D

When is that Warehouse code coming out and how much for? Just to do a bit of maths you see (not that they had any size 12s left on the site last I looked).
It looks much nicer IRL doesn't it? You should put some piccies of it on your SD to try to convince me even more *hint hint*! ;)
    Answer:
    Mwahaha!
Not sure about Warehouse code , was it beginning of May? It is a lovely dress, you won't be disappointed! ;) Actually i've just washed and ironed it yesterday so gimme a sec and i'll take some snaps!
ETA - Warehouse code is 20% I think so that would make it.. £48? Bargain! (Is it £60? )
    Answer:
    *Sticks her oar in* :D
I was nosing for the warehouse code just incase ya know, i need something ;) It's for the 4th May and it's 25% off :)
    Answer:
Oh nice one Cat! I'm after so that 25% off will come in handy!

i supose i should of posted this before i ordered them *duh* but has any body ever brought from there? i despratly need a soft yet sturdy ballet flat because i keep buying these cheapo ones and their ruining my feet with blister marks and lumps n bumps :cmdunno: will these do the job?

ooh also, does any body own those travel slippers that they sell? i'm going on a very long flight soon and thought these might be handy.. do they come in any other colours than bright pink??

    Answer:
I've worn FS for about 4 years now and love them. The best style to get IMO is Henrietta as they're lovely and low cut and have a solid sole which lasts better than the bog standard one they use on the Low Cut style. Also make sure you size up as FS run small.
    Answer:
thanks! yeah i've gone up to a size 6 as it said to size up on the website, bit warey of doing that though as i've never brought a size 6 in my life!

Just had a look at the Henrietta but by the looks of the picture they show a little to much toe clevage for me personally :) my feet arnt pretty enough for cleavage!

    xx
    Answer:
    Hi Yumi,

I've ordered from French Sole several times and think they are wonderful. I usually buy ballet flats from the Simple range, but also love their Pirouette style.

I'm glad that you have ordered a size up, as they do tend to be quite small.

Which ones did you choose? I'm sure that you will love them and find them soooooooooo comfortable... :D
    Answer:
I wear the low cuts as I like the shape of them best, but they're not the sturdiest.
I think the simple are a bit sturdier so you should be fine!

Article in the Daily Mail today, apologies if its been posted already!
    Shoos. x
    Answer:
I saw it in one of the free London papers yesterday. It seems a rather naive mistake for them to have made.
    Answer:
It does doesn't it? Makes a bit of a mockery of the whole situation!
    Answer:
I'm not defending anything, but it really annoys me the way they've reported that as saying it was made in China therefore is unethical. Yes it might be likely but cannot be taken as a given.
They say most workers will be paid 20-30p and hour, in China 20p can buy a meal out in a noodle bar, its hardly an accurate criteria to judge on :meh:

O/T (Sorry) Can anyone tape from Freeview channels?
Can anyone tape programmes that are showing on Freeview channels like BBC 3? We've just got a Freeview box and we can't work out how to it :o That's if it's even possible, of course!
    Thanks muchly :)
    Answer:
I'm sure you can, you'd just need a scart lead to run from the box to the video and another to go from the box to the tv. If you're freeview box hasn't got two scart lead sockets you could buy a box like this.
    Answer:
we have freeview built into our DVD recorder so we can do it on that. if you have a normal DVD recorder or video i think you have to make sure the video has a cable (scart?) from the freeview :meh: i could be wrong though!
    failing that try :)
    Answer:
Thanks for the quick replies! We have box scart cables connected, so will have a nosy on that Freeview questions site. Oh, dear, I'm not doing very well with this one, am I? :p
