have some lovely stuff in at the moment.
Last night I bought a layered top - like a white vest top with shells on the front and a racer back and over the top a grey backless vest...really unusual
And also bought a silver sequined bolero style top....really short - just a pair of sleeves really but looked great over a black vest with jeans!

I can usually find some decent things in Oasis, Supercat. I tend to steer clear of the obvious Oasis pieces that you see on every other person but I do like them and the quality is generally quite good. Love the sound of your bolero - any pics?

Quick help needed I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and silly me thinking oh its april the weather will be fine! How mistaken have you seen the forecast- snow!!!
I've bought the most beautiful dress and I'm determined to wear it, I'm all tanned and ready to go but now this.
So what I need is something to go with it and fast I've literally got an hour or two tomorrow so I need your thoughts.
My dress is from Oasis and its a light green coulour with little white flowers around the hem. I have a creamy cardigan that goes really well with it but guess i'm going to need a cream mac or jacket or something?
Any Ideas?

I've bought a top and skirt from Coast and the top is strapless so I just thought about using a black wrap I have. Luckily the wedding and reception is under the one roof so shouldn't be too bad, fingers crossed as I really haven't got one coat or card that goes with this outfit!

I bought a wrap dress from Dorothy Perkins about 6 weeks ago but only went to wear it for the first time last weekend, only to discover the bit where the tie goes through the side the hole is ripped a little so is bigger than it should be. Also, I have to be honest, it's a bit too short and doesn't go with any of my shoes so I don't want to sew it and fix it myself.
Only problem being I don't have the receipt and I'm beyond hte usual 28 day return period...will they take it back do you think just because of the tiny rip? It still has the label on...

I had to take something back which was out of the 28 day return period and no receipt and they took some persuading to be honest but did take it back in the end I pretended I didn't know about the 28 days and played dumb.
I think it differs from shop to shop also I have a store card with them so not sure of that helped.

I'm waiting for my gold round toes to come (hopefully today as I paid for express delivery) then I'll make up my mind.
Stupidly I forgot to get everything posted to my work address, so I expect I'll be at the post office first thing tomorrow.

Finally found some - after having been beaten to it in Mss Selfridge by Miss Mitchey by a matter of minutes!!!
Found some at Reiss. They fit really nicely - they are linen, but are really fitted and hang well, and seem to suit my shape - which I think is a miracle!! They have black, olive and white and were the best I tried on in my mission around covent garden last night.

Toosh there's no way you're too old. I don't think it's a particularly young look, you just need decentish legs. I have some really quite short, but slouchy ones and a couple of pairs of knee length ones. I think knee length is the easiest length to wear. I'm thinking of buying some tight denim ones almost like Capris pants to wear with big billowy tops. I think Miss Sixty have some. Am I losing it?
