1 Attachment(s) Okay - I'm normally a lurker on fashion and don't often post, but I was wondering what you guys thought about this ...... I actually like it and would consider getting it done - what do you think?

    NO.2. ask :
This Time Last Year.....what did you think would never be back?
    For me it was
    Brooches
    Gold heres and shoes
    Skinny Jeans
    Baggy Jeans
It is amazing how, as much as you like something, eventually it gets a bit 'stale' and you want something different. I was thinking of ERs thread about skinny jeans. I saw some baggy jeans today - low waisted (but at the natural waist, not hipsters) and tight around the waistband but a little baggy in the leg. She had them with a tight little top and they looked gorgeous. I have to say I am getting so tired of my bootcuts...
    Answer:
    For me it's:
    Gypsy skirts
    Wedges
This time last year I had to dress up as a victorian for a photo (don't ask), the only long flowy skirt I could find was an old tiered gypsy one, and I thought to myself "why did I ever buy this?" Then after wearing it for a few hours I started thinking "ooh, actually I feel quite feminine and floaty in this." I ended up wearing it out that night (with a basic vest top rather than the victorian blouse :) ) but I felt a bit stupid after a while cos I kept getting loads of weird stares. By the end of the year the shops were full of almost identical ones!
I was also gonna chuck a few pairs of wedges away last year, but now they just feel 'right' again. I'm starting to think this year might be a complete re-run of 2002 infact, what with all the gypsy stuff, etc. I was reading some old mags from 2002 the other day, and you wouldn't believe how many times I spotted the word "boho" aaarghh!!
It's amazing how quickly fashion recycles itself nowadays! Just goes to show you shouldn't write off something and chuck out all your clothes when you're sick of them. If I get sick of something and store it away, when I re-discover it after a few years it suddenly seems 'fresh' again.
    Answer:
The nautical look and Boho chic
    Answer:
    Shorts!
I'm with you on the jeans, I've been wearing bootleg hipster for what seems like forever and am after something a bit different!!
    Answer:
I'm with you on shorts Arnie! And cullottes! Gawd I remember cringing when I had to wear them to school!

Just wondering if any one has been able to buy kate/racerback vests in various colours from this branch.
    thnx:)
    Answer:
Yes they had them in when I was last there 2 weeks ago, they generally do. There wasnt much choice in sizes but quite a few colours. I find that the Liscard Primark is usually a bit better and isn't far away.

    Answer:
    What about these from Boden?
    Answer:
I haven't seen any for a while, but that said, I always used to see some in HM, usually in the LOGG dept, maybe try there. If not, autumn stuff is rolling out now, so there are bound to be some soon if not already.
    Answer:
Thanks guys! That's really useful and the Boden ones look nice too :-) I might order them.

What do you think to this?
    Answer:
    Me no like
    Answer:
I dunno, I could maybe see it working on someone tall and leggy with a boyish figure, worn over a skinny longsleeved tee shirt (say) with short shorts, opaques and slouchy ankle boots. Perhaps.
Certainly wouldn't work on me, I'm too small and curvy.

    Answer:
don't like that at all... sorry.

First I thought "what the *** is that about but then I saw Geek kitten's reply below:

and I do agree: I have a very tall (over 6 feet) and very slim (naturally so) co-worker (she has worked as a model). She wears a lot of things that would look horrid on me but absolutely fab on her, like wide 3/4 sleeve trapeze swing jackets on gathered knee length skirts and so.
I imagine if she would wear this top on skinny jeans it would look great on her.
