hi PV!!!I couldnt find the black in my size, although I might try another branch to get it-the material is ok I think-it might be sticky in the height of summer, but I'll worry about that when and if it happens!!!Good to know you got chatted up wearing it-I'm not sure who Lorenzo is though!!!
The black one looks massive in that pic,but is ok irl, albeit a bit loose around the hips-I dont think I suit alot of loose dresses.I do think I'll get mopre wear out of the black cut to hip length.
shoes with dress

shoes with dress
2 Attachment(s) I'm going to a wedding and cannot decide whether these shoes look ok with this dress, or if i'd be better with black ones?
They're very dark reddy/purple and i've got a necklace and bracelet to match. xxxx
sorry they are side view, couldn't be bothered fiddling with technology this morning!
Answer:
I think they look really nice! More interesting than black shoes.
Have fun!
Answer:
I'm a bit in two minds, to be honest - I think I'd need to see the whole outfit to decide. Mostly I'm all for colours with black, but I think the thing that bothers me about those is that they're just a bit too dark perhaps? If they were a bit lighter, then definitely yes.
Sorry, not very helpful!

Answer:
Hi
I've seen that dress before and its lovely!! I would personally go for something either a different colour or a bit more dainty or strappy or something? as those are a bit on the chunky side for me?
I'm sure you'll look GORGEOUS whatever you choose to wear, have fun!
Answer:
I really like those shoes with that dress - I don't think they're too chunky at all. I actually like the contrast with the dress. I wore a black and cream dress to the last wedding I went to, and wore forest green shoes; I think black would be too boring. Have fun at the wedding!
O/T - Lying when applying for a Job.

O/T - Lying when applying for a Job.
Hi,
For those who dont know I am currently in my first year at Uni. I finish in two weeks, and need a job from then until I come back to Uni in late September.
I've been looking for 'Temporary' work and the work is very limited. Alot of students pretend they're not students, get permanent jobs then leave after the four months we have off...
I've been looking on the Job Centre website and there is quite a few positions I like the sound of, but they are pemanent jobs. Do you think it would be very :o of me to pretend I am looking for a permanent job? Surely quite a few people over their lifes have applied for a job and never intended to stay there forever...
My only thing is, how do I explain why I havent been in work since September? :cmdunno:
Answer:
Telling lies is naughty and you shouldn't do it :lipper: ;)
I wouldn't be than I'm too honest for my own good :(
Answer:
Moog, thats my problem.. sort of. I dont want to do it, as I think I'll mess up somewhere, but my OH has suggested it as he knows how difficuilt it is to find work when your a Student... and it is! Even Asda wont take me on
Answer:
No, no nooo.. don't lie. These things have a way of coming back to bite you.
I would register with some agencies and say you want to temp for the summer. They have lots of positions to cover maternity leave/ holidays etc and you will get week to week contracts. I did it for a summer about 3 years ago between jobs loved it!
Answer:
People respect honesty so contact companies that may need extra staff during your holiday periods- leisure centres, playschemes, libraries etc.
I did temping at a call centre- they needed extra 'bodies' to cover staff hols etc. Once on their books I was guaranteed a job every holiday until I left uni. Dull work but good money :D
Get yourself registered with a temping agency asap to avoid the 'rush'

a bit O/T - ink stains on clothes
ive just bought a top from primark, and when ive got it home, ive realized its got a biro or felt-tip pen mark on it. i dont think they had any left either, so i cant go and swap it, and i really like it.
does anyone know how i can get this mark out? (the tops yellow, so i cant bleach it).
Answer:
Failing a normal wash with stain remover added - that usually works for me, soak the stain in milk and wash as normal.
Answer:
thanks caramel. i'll try that.:D
ETA: how long do i soak it in milk for?
Answer:
Not sure, it's a tip I saw on a stain removal site I found when googling one day. Prob says so on the site - lemme see if I can find it.
EAT - can't find the exact site. it was yr ago I saw it but type "ink stain removal" in google and loads of tips come up.

Well my dragonfly UO necklace got delivered the other day, and I wore it that day v.chuffed. Wore it the next day, and the bloody tail fell off the dragonfly, which I tried to hook back on nut that didnt last very long. So I'm too scared to hook it back on again in case it falls off and I lose it. I think a link has came loose or something has snapped....
I am so frustrated because everyone here knows how long I've wanted this, and £24 isnt exactly dirt cheap for a fashion necklace. Its happened to all my UO necklaces... when i got my gold angel wings back in september, I put it on, and the chain snapped into a million pieces round my neck after literally 10 seconds. My heart necklace with the 3 chains (again, around £22) fell apart the other day after about 3 months. The heart just fell off randomly when it was hooked over my wardrobe handle.
TBH I am sick of it because I love UO necklaces, they are a bit more expensive than your average New Look or Miss Selfridge ones, yet all of mine have broken despite me taking very good care of them.
I am going to phone UO and see what they suggest about my dragonfly, ffs its like taking candy from a baby, I was so happy to finally have it!
Yours Frustrated-ly,
LL xx
Answer:
Email them or phone them they are really lovely and i'm sure they will exchange.
It sounds like a faulty one as i've worn my Dragonfly necklace loads over the part 2 months and it's still fine :)
The only prob i had was with the heart necklace from last year which was an utter pain considering the price
Answer:
AAw, its awful when you really look forward to getting something, and its faulty! i got the heart pendant a while ago, and although it hasnt broken, im REALLY disappointed with it as its really badly tarnished. ive hardly worn it and ive look after it.
maybe its worth me emailing them too?
Answer:
There were lots of broken dragonfly necklaces instore when they were in firsttime round. Randoms tails all over the place. They reduuced them all to £18
My UO heart necklace has been tangled up for teh past 2 mths and I dont have the patience to dedicate 2 hrs to untangle it!! Stupid thing never laid straight in the first place  and kept kinking.
They'll exchange for you, no probs.
Answer:
Thanks for your replies, I'll definately give them a call or e-mail, but will I have to pay another fiver delivery again? The nearest UO store is in Manchester, and I'm in Liverpool, and have no plans to go there for a while so thats another cost on top of an already pricey necklace.
For some reason, by the photo on the website, I thought the wings were filled with glass or plastic or something, so when it came and I saw the wings were like hollow barbed wire!! almost like things I was momentarily disappointed.
But when I wore it, I have to admit, I was made up. People made a few comments like, 'Ooh what a weird necklace!' lol.
