This shorts thing...?
Ok... sorry to start a whole new thread about it but my question is quite specific.
So I keep hearing about shorts cullotes... I've given them some thought and I would probably give them a go if I see some nice enough pairs.
I was some charcoal grey fine cord ones in Miss Selfridge sale for a tenner... i quite like the look of them anyway... but seriously... they looked odd (but in a kind of good way, and it was probably what I was wearing at the time)... how do you wear them anyway?
Does anyone know the ones I am talking about? I quite like them but I fear I could just end up buying them on a whim.
Answer:
Hey, I'm not going to be much help I'm afraid, but out of the people I've seen so far wearing shorts, those who have dressed themselves as if they were wearing a mini skirt seem to have been most successful, such as longer camis, with belt and fitted blazer, or jersey tshirts. Havent seen the shorts you are referring to so I cant really say what I think would go with it
Let us know if you get them!

Answer:
Ooooh I've not seen them!
I generally treat long shorts as trousers and short shorts as mini skirts when I'm choosing tops.
With my new short shorts I'm going to wear a loose v neck black evening-ish top that I got in HM at lunchtime with a big belt over it. With longer shorts (knee length or just above) just plain vest or cami's with fitted jackets etc. I won't be wearing any of them without heels though!

Another question... Where can I buy a nice Maxi dress?
Hi ladies
Anybody know where I can buy a nice Maxi dress thats not too expensive? I have a latin american- type party (well its in a latin american club :D) to go to next weekend and I NEED a dress  A friend suggested to me this might be a good choice of outfit :)
Thanks all xx
Answer:
Oooh - I popped into Asda yesterday and they had a very nice black one. It was one of those thats boob tube stylee but has shoestring straps from the middle of the boobies that tie halter style around the neck.
Maxi length with two or three "stripes" around the bottom in purples/pinks (about 2 inches wide). Can't remember if the stripes were actual frills or not. It was much nicer than the way I describe it :D
I didn't check out the price because I'm on a spending diet at the moment but given that it's Asda it can't have been much. Have checked the website and it's not on there tho!
Worth having a look at if there's an Asda near you - although of course they don't have everything in every store.
Good luck:wave:

Hiya
Thats a lovely dress! I cant really see what colour the spots are on that but I think the accessories should be that colour.
I agree that a long necklace will look good with it though.
:)
What do you think of this NEXT dress?

What do you think of this NEXT dress?
Hey fashionsitas!
I bought this dress from next today, I don't usually shop in next, but i have had birthday vouchers for ages, and i used them today.
What does everybody think of it? and any ideas what accessories or ways which i could wear it?
Thankyou!
Answer:
I like the shape but not the pattern but that's just me its not a horrid pattern at all. I'd wear it how she's wearing and probably bare legged at the moment as well with courts but I know that might feel a bit tarty for some people :o
Answer:
Love it! I'd wear it pretty much how it's worn in the pic but with flat tan boots and big shaggy hair :D

I do quite a lot...
*and feel like a bit of a clown* :o :D
Answer:
Oohhh me too.
And sometimes I even think it actually is a bagger.
But I do exactly what you just described..
I saw someone with that Primark here brooch on, and I thought "she's got to be a bagger"..
LOL:lol:
Answer:
Actually, I tend to go around identifying people's clothes... like "that top is from HM" or "those shoes are last season YSL"
Terrible, I know....:o

I'm constantly doing that. I have mind games with myself counting how many people I see with that bloody topshop bag in different colours - gold, black, brown, green, orange and blue!
When I spot someone wearing an item I have I get a right strop on!:o  cos I'm the only person who shops on the high street aren't I?!! (Get a grip woman!)
Monday morning... I had no silver shoes...
NO.5. ask :
Monday morning... I had no silver shoes...
... and by lunchtime today... I have 3 pairs!!! In total I spent £30 too!
Got these snakeskin ones off schuh for £15...
Then there were the birdcage shoes from ebay for a tenner including postage (see below)...
Then I got
these from barratts at lunchtime for £5!!! They were supposed to be £15, but were priced up wrong and the SA said that the shop had to honour that!!! Go Barratts!!! I never usually go in there, but I was desperate to find some shoes.
It turns out my fellow colleague also has 80+ pairs of shoes and doesn't own a single pair in silver... she has the same size feet as me and offered to take any of the pairs off me that I don't want
:yay: :yay: :yay: for shoes!!!
Answer:
OH MY GOODNESS,
That is amazing.
You can even afford to keep all three at these kind of prices.
I really like the Barratts ones :yay:
Answer:
You really know how to sniff out a bargain! Is there any more room in your house for shoes??? :p
(I'm just as bad - I luurve shoes)
Answer:

TT - I have made a promise to myself I am having a huge clearout this month... I have already started on my clothes and have earmarked loads of shoes to fling out... room for more!!!
Can't be bothered to sell on ebay... so some lucky sods are going to have a treat at my local oxfam!!!
Anyway, i'm definitely keeping the birdcage ones (got no choice really considering how I bought them!)... i'm not 100% sure I'm going to keep the other 2 pairs... but yeah, they are all so cheap they should be worth keeping anyway.

 Throw... out... shoes ?!?! I think I'm gonna faint.
I think you should keep the Barratts ones, I have some similar but from Peacocks and in gold antique-y and they look really cute and dainty on. As for the Schuh ones, I love the shape, if it were me I'd keep them, though I might try and swap them for the deep red version of the same thing, which I think are lovely.
