Wishlists!
Hello,
Don't think we've done this for a bit, but what are we hoping to buy in the near future........
Tight cropped knee length jeans - have seen some I like in Pinko so will hopefully get some this weekend
Brightly coloured Rachel Pally gauchos
Some neutral tan / camel sandals that are not stupidly high and will go with everything - any suggestion much appreciated
Some indian thong sandals with a tiny wedge from Faith
Some show stopping wedges
I think that's pretty reserved and realistic of me really. No doubt I'll need a million and one other things once I reach the shops!
Mimi x

    Dodgy Dealings?
I bought a dress about 3 weeks ago for a wedding I went to wore the dress and had a fab time. I've got home and the dress is fraying around the bottom it was £55 from Oasis and I cant really afford to spend that kind of cash on something I've worn once and is knackered already!
I'm going to take it back but the only problem is that there is a tiny red stain on the front.
So do I wash and return and still show the fraying or not (its handwash) what do you reckon??
    Cheers my dears, thoughts apprciated.
    xx
    Answer:
It really shouldn't matter about the stain if it's faulty.

    Answer:
do you really think? oh i dont know just don't want to look like i'm getting rid and have trashed the dress, you know the sneer you can get sometimes!
Ps have no recipt!! Argh its not gonna happen is it?
    x
    Answer:
Oasis are very good about returns. If they give you any problems, you could point out that you didn't want to make the problem any worse by washing it. But it's unlikely I would have thought.
    Answer:
Oh I'll do it then can't lose anything really can I? Guess they can only say no.
Thanks quality reassurance as always ladies.

I have list of possible outfits planned for work night out next week, and my favourite of the lot was dependant on my getting the patterned brown/white/blue wedges from MS (which I've stupidly been trying to make my mind up over for 2 weeks  ) - went to get them today to complete my outfit, and lo and behold there were none to be had....:(
fingers crossed they have them in town tomorrow, or my perfect outfit will not work and I'll be a very :( gir

    Answer:
I know! the picture is mocking me! It was Jervis that didn't have them today, so going to check Blanch this evening after work, and then grafton street tomorrow after i've been to toniguy, and if I still haven't found them i'll ask them to order them in. do you know how long it takes?
    Answer:
this happened to me last week in tesco of all places! i have a lovely cardi in black from there, really plain, great for work and rough and tumble with bubby. Spied it in a beautiful bright emerald green last week, ffs it was only £10 why i didnt buy it ive no idea...went back on weds and none left
its not the first time - you think i'd learn. my motto now is if in doubt buy! better to have it and have to take it back, than want it and its nowhere to be seen...

1 Attachment(s) As if its not bad enough that I want her trousers - but I MUST know where this bag is from so I can get HKBL to make me one!
    Answer:
    It's a Devi Kroell bag!
    It's called the Classic bag.
*eta* wait - the straps look longer on her bag.
    Answer:
    yummy!
    Answer:
ooooh thankyou - it looks very similar but hers looks much bigger....
    Answer:
    It's definitely by Devi Kroell.
It's made of python skin, and altho I know HKBL will have python in next month, she'd told me that she won't be doing any custom orders for it (as I sadly tried to persuade her to do me a python silverado!) :heartpop:

Long Lilac Dress for informal Bridesmaid
My mum is getting married soon ,no definite date but within the next couple of months-she does like to do things last minute!
I'm a bridesmaid but I have been left to find my own dress. My little sister has hers and it's lilac so obviously i need to have a lilac dress too - or at least something that tones with lilac.
The problem is that my mum as 50 soon so she decided not to have a traditional wedding dress. She's wearing an ivory knee legnth dress.
Which means that I need a non-traditional but still dressy, lilac dress that isn't too flashy to draw attention away from her!
It needs to be quite long too as i hate my legs :( I've looked EVERYWHERE!!
    Any ideas? Thank you!

    Answer:
    Monsoon?
    Answer:
I think Debenhams would be a good place to go for you.
Not sure what other debenhams are like but the Bullring branch always seems to have all kinds of formal dresses. They have a bridesmaid section (away from the bridal wear section) with all kind of dresses, from traditional bridesmaid dresses to cute little 50's style ones :)
    Answer:
rather than trying to match lilac to lilac (it's more likely that they'll clash unless they're identical) maybe it's best to opt for something that tones with it nicely, like pink, mint or teal?
    Answer:
    Thanks!
I love Monsoon, but I've not managed to find anything suitable.
My mum sent me this dress to look at I don't like it very much, but i'm getting desperate!
    What do you think??
