How often do you go clothes shopping?
How often does everyone go shopping for clothes?
Is it once a week or twice? or less?
You see i think that i dont go shopping enough as i should and when i do clothes have often come in and then gone back out again!

Um......... probably three times a week I suppose, but that's not always proper shopping. Often it's a dash into TS Oxford Circus or High Street Kensington to check I'm not missing out on something (sad I know) and then a potter round Nottinghill, Knightsbridge, High Street Ken or Selfridges on a Saturday usually combined with lunch with friends or my Mum.

Definitely more than once or twice a week! I live in the city centre so it's too tempting to pop into a couple of shops on the way home from work or whatever. I tend to have a more leisurely shop on a Saturday or Sunday, sometimes with friends but sometimes it's best if I'm on my own!

See, i could never go shopping on a saturday in town, i get so mad, with everybody everywhere, in my way it gets me soo mad! Although, i do like sundays its a lot calmer!

If I need to go to chain stores, I go on my own during the week, usually to local shopping centres (if I can get off work, on a Friday afternoon), but if I want to go to little boutiques and one-off shops, I go on a Saturday with my boyfriend. We tend to go for walks on Saturday afternoons around different parts of the city anyway, so we always end up stuffing our faces in one way or another and coming home with the odd little buy.
The shops here don't open on Sundays. Boooring! No wonder I'm depressed by the time Monday comes around.

i have a pair of 3/4 length trousers that im getting taken up into shorts. what length should i get them taken up to? just below the knee, at the knee, or just above the knee? i want them for wearing with funky wedges and top for pubbing/clubbing...

Guess it depends on your legs! But I'd say probably just above the knee, I have a couple of pairs like this and think they're quite flattering.

I think on or just above the knee is the most flattering length and extremely elegant whilst looking funky: very versatile. But for clubbing or something perhaps you'd want to go shorter since you are OK with your legs?

Just having a flick through look magazine and have noticed a lot of the models in the trend report are wearing over the knee socks in different shades from HM. I think they look wicked. Just wondered what you ladies think? Any of you wearing them? If so what kinda thing are you wearing them with?

I really like them with vintage or officey type clothes, IMO they should be definately worn cute rather than sexy. I dont know if theyd suit me as my legs arent my best feature and i have that bit of fat on inside of knee so id prob end up with hangover LOL. would def wear them if i could get away with them

InStyle is my favourite fashion magazine. My friend got me a subscription for Christmas and I also subscribe to Vogue. I really like Elle too, and also usually get Marie Claire (I like the 101 ideas section). I've been buying Grazia recently, and occasionally get Company and Glamour too. I'm a bit of a magazine junkie, I even buy French Vogue and Elle sometimes!
