I've tried this on in another colour, and it's quite OK on me (athletic size 8-10, big shoulders, curvy hips). It's pretty short though, even by my abbreviated standards ;)

I often get to work and then think of the perfect accessory or bag that i should have worn with my outfit.
For example, today i forgot to put on my chunky black beads and it's annoyed me all day! :mad: I wish I had a walk in closet with everything laid out for me to choose from!
Oh, and make up too - i SO should have worn blue eyeshadow today but was in too much of a rush so just had to do with a quick coat of mascara (i am one of those people who decides which make up, well, which colour eyeshadow, to wear according to what i'm wearing that day :o)

God, it absolutely happens to me all the time.
I am not very organised and frequently change about 4 times in the morning, leaving clothes strewn everywhere, then when I do make a decision, inevitably forget something!
I would love a walk in wardrobe in theory, but when I kind of had one in the form of a spare room that we kept our clothes in while we were waiting for wardrobes to arrive, it just ended up looking like a second hand shop, with clothes and shoes piled everywhere.
I always find clothes I forget I even had whenever I tidy even a bit :o

do it all the time. I try to have a sort of working wardrobe cos I so resent wearing certain clothes/accessorties etc to work, particularly if they're new. But it doesn't work very well as I get in a bit of a muddle trying to distinguish what category they come in. I also get off on having brand new clothes hanging in the closet with their labels still on - all shiny new - then I forget about them.

I am soooooooooo fed up with waiting for my new cardi - it's driving me mad and preventing me from doing any work. :mad:
Every time I get an email I am convinced it's reception telling me my parcel's arrived even though logic tells me that Parcel Force will almost certainly have tried to deliver to my home address AGAIN despite all my efforts :rolleyes:. I am also secretly hoping my NAP delivery will come today as well as our offices are so close to the depot and I once got something within 2 hours of ordering. Again, logic tells me I shouldn't get my hopes.
So sorry for the self indulgent rant, what's everyone else up to??

I'm heading over to a gig in Brixton in July. From what I can see I should stay near Victoria Station (easy for Gatwick Brixton).
I was wondering if there was any decent shopping to be had around there? I have to come home with SOMETHING from my first trip to London!!
Also if anyone knows of any cheap but cheeful accommodation.... ;)

If you're staying near Victoria bus/train station - hop onto the Victoria line and Oxford Street is just 2 stops away :)
You can get bus no 52 or 53 (I think - haven't worked up there for ages) from Victoria bus station that'll take you to Knightsbridge/High St Kensington too.
ETA: It's bus no 52. From Victoria by bus it'll take you 10 mins to get to Knightsbridge and approx 20 to get to High St ken.

Buckingham Palace Road has a load of BB's, or there's a few hiltons round there you should be able to get a good deal on expedia for.
Shopping in victoria itself is limited to victoria place, pretty rubbish, but you are 1 stop on the tube from sloane square, and 2 from oxford circus. It's very easy to navigate london using the underground - I would venture beyond Victoria!

I'm really excited! We aren't going to have much time for shopping as we land in Gatwick at 12.55 on the Tuesday and are flying back at 20.35 on the Wednesday. At least the train is only half a hour (according to the website!).
It's going to be like a fashion version of Supermarket sweep! :D
