Mandy's dress from Hollyoaks...
This is a bit of a long shot, but anyway: can anyone tell me where Mandy's dress in Wednesday's episode of Hollyoaks came from? I've tried to find a pic and can't - it was a mushroomy grey colour, quite short and slouchy (worn belted). It had spaghetti straps and about an inch of elasticated ruching (I think) round the top. I really really liked it...

When I was in the States in April I coveted a DVF upright case in Macy's. It was in the sale, but still not cheap as chips and I'd already spent far too much money..... But I went in TK Maxx last night, and there it was, in all its glory and reduced to....
£33!!!!
Am so chuffed.
I also popped in Primark and got one of the sequin shrugs which I think is beautiful. :D

May is a really busy month for me due to both sets of parents visiting and a wedding abroad, but not wanting to neglect my friends I arranged a SATC night in...drinks, snacks etc at my house....it was supposed to be tonight so have booted mr super out and everything....
But everyone has cancelled!
One friend has her work summer ball (she forgot about it - can't be helped!)
One friend has another friend over from Oz and wants to catch up with her (which is understandable!)
One friend is visiting her parents (which she might have remembered?!)
And another will be working late and might not make it!
Now am going to be sitting home alone with a lot of wine and food. Humph.

I agree with Mooferoo, maybe get yourself a new CD or DVD, then get some girly spa bits? Some new skin care to try out, or you could always indulge in a little bit of online shopping?
I know it sounds kind of boring, but sometimes I could spent awhole evening just trying on different outfits, hair-do's and make up. And if any of the outfits or make up don't work very well - no one will be in the house to see it. Maybe if you haven't got a wedding outfit sorted, you could sort that out?
