I wouldn't buy from ebay - the prices are far too high!
I'm sure they will come to the Primarks in Dublin eventually. They're so popular, how could they not?!

Paper Denim Cloth and Yanuk fans...
NO.2. ask :
Paper Denim Cloth and Yanuk fans...
For you ladies that can get to Beckton, the TK Maxx in Galleions Reach has a pile of size 10-16 Yanuk worker jeans and other styles at £40 and Paper Denims in size 10-12 for £50. I tried some on but sadly my sausage like legs looked even meatier :o
Answer:
I got some Yanuks in TK Maxx in Newcastle a couple of weekes agao and they were only £29.99 - Bargain! :p
Answer:
Cool - thanks for the tip I might venture into TK Maxx tomorrow after work to see if there's any round here. I doubt it though - the two stores near me are pants. :(
Answer:
Yeah I got some at the weekend too :D
Answer:
ooh sounds good - I have some great bargains I got at the TK Maxx in Kingston - had to spend hours in there to find them though!
Out of interest, who's still buying
NO.3. ask :
Out of interest, who's still buying
Happy?
Grazia?
I'll start. I'm still buying both although I have a pile of Grazias to work through as it takes me more than a week to read each one.
I'm not sure about Happy but I'll stick with it for now.
Answer:
Re: Out of interest, who's still buying
I'll start. I'm still buying both although I have a pile of Grazias to work through as it takes me more than a week to read each one.
More than a week? I can read it pretty much read it cover to cover in an hour max!
I buy it randomly at the moment. But am wondering if it'll eventually take over from my regular Tuesday night treat of heat magazine as I'm more interested in fashion and beauty than I am in 'celebrity gossip' at the moment. Although Heat is my tv bible.
Haven't bothered with the second issue of Happy but I did flick through it in the newsagents.
Answer:
I'm loving Grazia. In fact I don't think I'm going to renew my subscription to one or two of my glossies in favour of this. I like the fact that it's weekly cause I'm impatient and have a short attention span - plus certain glossies are about 60% adverts these days
Answer:
Have only ever bought one copy of Grazia. It's not to my liking. Happy isn't my kind of mag either.
Answer:
I had a break from Grazia for a few weeks as I was trying to be 'good' with my money but I couldn't resist today. I really like it, good mix of articles with a healthy dedication to fashion.
Haven't read Happy (I'm scared to start!) :o :p
Forked From: What's your favourite magazine? where do you store yours?
NO.4. ask :
Forked From: What's your favourite magazine? where do you store yours?
so as you can probably gather i have a somewhat large amount of magazines  and now they're just on this terrible shelf/sideboard thingy from our old house in finland and it's falling apart after 3-4 moves. it's pretty ugly too (i can say that because it came from a house we bought furnished) so i don't mind getting something better
i'm really not sure what to replace it with though, i know i'm getting a new shelf and i think i need some of those magazine file things, but they're either some sort of cardboard thing that will fall apart in about five minutes, or nice and cost about £30, which when you have 10 years of vogue plus maybe double that amount of other magazines it'd easily amount to about £1k in magazine storage and that's a bit  i'd rather spend it on a bag  i saw some lovely lacquered ones in habitat but they were £28 and would fit at most 10 small vogues so unfortunately i don't think those are an option, unless someone knows how to get a 90% discount or something
i wouldn't mind some sort of box either i suppose, but it'd have to be shallow for easy access in case i randomly decide i need the november '98 issue of something and don't want to rifle through them absolutely forever. and of course they'd have to be stackable, so something solid that won't buckle under the weight of the magazines in them..
and no, recycling them isn't an answer  i already got rid of about half of my magazines in may :faint: i do get rid of things like grazia, but the proper glossies i keep.
Answer:
I have this problem too and have them stacked up against a wall in the living room until we find suitable storage to fill the space and also under my Barcelona chair and in boxes upstairs :o
I will be getting a few floor to ceiling open shelving systems for them soon once I kit out the office which will be very Carrie a la SATC!
I've also cleared out loads of mine but can't bear to part with my collection.
Answer:
I just haven't the space to hang onto any so every time a new issue comes out the old ones get recycled!
I might take some along to the dr's next time I go as their collection is shockingly bad. People's Friend from 2003 is not what I consider a good read while i'm waiting!
Answer:
I've still got magazines from last year. I usually keep them in the cupboard in my bedroom.
Answer:
phew, i'm not the only one with an obscene amount of magazines all over the place :o :o :o
i think i might get some really tall shelves and have them on either side of my balcony doors and use them just for magazines  i have really high ceilings so they should fit.. but i do still want them in some sort of folders.. maybe i should spend next summer making my own magazine folders, i'm sure i could manage it with a bit of mdf
O/T but fashion related ...kinda-ish
NO.5. ask :
O/T but fashion related ...kinda-ish
I've posted about this before a couple of months ago and I can't find the friggin' thread!
How do you post pics of clothing/footwear from the Arcadia (TS, Miss Selfridge et al) websites on HB?
Thank you!!:)
Answer:
What I normally do is (i think this is the way everyone else does it!) go to the page, press 'Print Screen' then copy it onto Paint, crop the image and save it. then host it on somewhere like TinyPic
HTH! :)
Answer:
I am a complete and utter novice here, but when I attached a pic the other day I right clicked on the pic, it said save pic as. I then called it something that I coudl remember and stored it on the c drive of my computer. Then when I poste a message and wanted to attach a pic I clicked on browse, then found the pic on my c drive and attached it.
Sorry that is so random and there is probably a much easier way but it did work.
Answer:
I've got Photoshop on my computer so I just hit the print screen button which copies the image to the clipboard, then I paste it into Photoshop and crop it. You can do it in Paint too which all windows PCs have.
Answer:
ooooo that all sounds sooooooo complicated.
