Satin robe kimono thing

NO.1. Ask :
Satin robe kimono thing
I'm going away soon and I need one of those satin kimonos/ robes, I can't take my towelling dressing gown, its far too large. I've looked for one all over Swansea, but the only one i've seen that I like was a black la senza one with white lace edging, but it was 45 pounds, so its way out of my budget, and all the other one are *lovely* pinks and beiges.
Does anyone know anywhere that stocks black or deep red ones? Internet catalogues, shops, anywhere really.

Answer:
Type in Kimono in google - a few sites pop up. There are also a couple of 'Kimono' threads about too (one as recent as last week) :)
Answer:
might not be quite the quality you're looking for but....... PRIMARK are doing some mean satin kimonos at the mo, embroidery and loads of colours.
Answer:
I have a turquoise one from Primark, and it's a kimono - gorgeous fit and everything. Really cheap, too!
Answer:
I had a look in primark, they had one red one with embrodery down the back, but it had been damaged and the embriodery was half ripped out of the back, I thought about trying to rescue it but I think it was beyond help. Maybe they'll have some more in soon.

    NO.3. ask :
What have baggers done for you? (completely OT!)
I know this is OT but the people I am talking about are beauty baggers so I'll put it here anyway!
So the question is in the title - what have baggers done for you?
Isambard and Silly Sal helped me paint my new flat and move after only meeting me twice which I think is pretty amazing. Isambard gave up her whole weekend to help me do 3 coats of paint and keep me sane when I thought I'd rented a complete hole! Then the next weekend she and SS braved my scarey driving in a hired van to go to Ikea and buy everything I needed before lugging it up 3 floors without a lift.
Ex (I think) bagger Delores gave me the contact details for the recruitment agencies that then helped me get my current job and move here
    Over to you...
    Answer:
Well Apocalypse Cow did me a huge favour by giving me an interview on shopping in Cardiff for an assignment I had. I needed people with a good knowledge of shopping here, so she was well qualified ;)
Mimicat helped me track down a beautiful faux fur coat from Topshop, which I love to death now and it'll stay in my wardrobe forever.
All the other baggers have helped to significantly lower my bank balance by posting beautiful things that I must have :p
    Answer:
Mimicat pointed a lot of us in the direction of the UO gauchos...for which I will be forever grateful! TheBlonde and Shopaholic Princess gave me the idea of wearing skirts as dresses, which completely rejuvenated my wardrobe. There's more too, I'm sure, although I can't remember names - I think fashion baggers in general are largely responsible for the fact that I'm so much better dressed these days; the state of my bank balance is also attributable to you lovely girls too, since you all keep posting gorgeous stuff or putting ideas into my impressible mind!
I've had loads of good advice from other boards too - Kateab from Fitness has been a fantastic source of information. Also, Linux_Lady and many others from Education have been very kind to me about the whole PhD business.
    So cheers, baggers!

Miss Sweethcheeks and Inca recently gave me a lot of help and support concerning an area in my private life recently - thanks girls :)
Exupjo took the time to post me loads of info about Silica, MSM and Biotin tablets.
Uma Pineapple has been helping me out with avatar sizing.
I remember lots of people giving me fantastic advice when I had a week long 'breakdown' when my ex (who was once the love of my life) let me know he'd starting seeing someone else. I was in absolute pieces (despite being with Mr C!) and the advice and 'love' shown was overwhelming so I'd like to thank everyone who participated on that thread of mine a few months back.
I've received lots of advice from so many people over the past 3 years in beauty/fashion tips :)
    Answer:
TheBlonde gave me some good advice when I was freaking out over meeting the boyfriends mother. Inca advised me over a wisdom teeth removal procedure that I was very confused about, and made me feel much more confident about it. Oh and Ms DKM was kind enough to point out when Kerrang had a poster of the gorgeous Ian Watkins that I'd been waiting to grace my wall with!   One for you each!

    totally lost it!
    hi
somehow i've lost my silver sequin skinny scarf  it is absolutely nowhere to be seen  ? ? ?
maybe my daughter has stuffed it somewhere or thrown it in the bin but after an hour of looking for it last night i had had enough (and the hump by this point)
Instead of turning my house upside down again tonight, i thought I would go and buy another one tomorrow :D (i want it for when i go out tomorrow night hence the panic).
Which shops are still selling these? I bought mine a few months ago from oasis so not sure if theyre 'old hat' and still in the shops? i dont care if they are, i love 'em and i want mine back!
anyone seen any on their travels?
    muchos gracias girls

    Answer:
    Aw, poor Prof!
I've beens earching for one myself so I'm not that much help... I was looking for one under twenty quid without luck, but I did see some over that.
I'd try Accessorise, Oasis, Miss Selfridge, New Look, Tie Rack (!), Debenhams or Lewis's, and as a last resort, International....this is where my beloved sparkly bronze one came from.
    g_k
    Answer:
I know they had them in Jigsaw PV, that's were I bought mine. Where do you live? If you are nearish you are more than welcome to borrow mine.
    Answer:
oh thanks g_k! where's international? in fact, *what's* international ? ? never heard of it!
i thought my first port of call would be oasis....i'm sure one was in the window display a few weeks ago...but as i wasn't looking for one then i'm not sure you know?
    Answer:

and then i live in watford so even further away.....thanks though jules thats so kind of you to offer xx i will try my luck tmrw!

    NO.5. ask :
new top, what to wear with?
I'm sorry I can't post a pic, but I bought a wrap top yesterday that is brown with a bold swirly pattern in orange. It's lovely and looks great with my denim skirt, but I wondered what else I could wear it with? any ideas of colours that would work?
Thanks girls, it's got me really stumped! I'm like this  with all my clothes strewn over the bed! :D
    Answer:
I do that too, especially the  face!
I think white, brown, certain shades of green (a fairly mossy khaki green perhaps), neutrals like tan and camel and even turquoise will work with what you describe. Maybe not turquoise skirts or trousers, but paired with a white skirt, I reckon turquoise accessories could really add zing to the whole look.
I think you could wear it loads of different ways - either ethnicy or more slick and sophisticated - it sounds gorgeous!
    g_k
    Answer:
Hmmmmm......... without seeing it, it's quite hard to picture what it would go with but going on your description obviously jeans are a good option. If you're into the shorts thing, then perhaps a pair of brown knee length shorts that would go with the brown on the top? Linen trousers in neutral colours or a plain skirt :)
