Has anyone heard of In wear jeans?
NO.3. ask :
Has anyone heard of In wear jeans?
There is a new boutique in Richmond called Blush (stocks Nicole Farhi and other labels I can't remember now .
Anyway, I went in on Saturday (very buggy friendly) and was just leafing through the rails, and found a fab pair of jeans by In Wear.
I tried them on and they fitted like a glove! :faint: :faint:
So I bought them :p at £60 they won't be my cheapest ever jeans, but they certainly are the grooviest ones I have bought recently.
they are a wee bit long, so I'll have to take them up. But I would recommend them for curvy ladies (and the size 12 fitted me perfectly!) as they actually fit over my hips and aren't too big at the waist :great:
Minky
PS Katkinn, I will wear them on Weds for your honest opinion
Answer:
I know In Wear - it's a danish brand. IMO they make quite funky clothes!
Answer:
I love In Wear clothing, but have never tried their jeans - will have a look next time I'm out ;)
Answer:
V much looking forward to seeing them!! :yay:
I've got a couple of In wear t-shirts and a titchy black In wear cardie - all of which are now about 6 years old, but they come out every year and I LOVE them!!!! (in fact, some of the only things that I do wear every year - they wash brilliantly!!)

Hmm - choosing between two skirts...
NO.4. ask :
Hmm - choosing between two skirts...
Have posted previously with a link to this skirt, and those who replied seemed to like it, so thanks to anyone who posted in response to my original thread. I've got a dressy dinner coming up - the blokes are black tie (it's a gentleman's evening), but the ladies dress code for this particular do isn't as strict ie doesn't have to be cocktail dress, evening gown as such - I've been to a couple of these evenings before, so know what I can and can't get away with!
So, I've gone and done it again - have found 2 skirts and can't make my mind up which one I like best/which one will look the nicest. I originally didn't want to wear black, but found a gorgeous skirt in Coast - no piccy I'm afraid, but it's black heavyweight satin, fitted round the bum and legs then flares out - comes to about mid-calf length. Have got a black bustier to wear with it and strappy heels and probably hair in a side ponytail and a diamante choker - simple but elegant I'm thinking and no need to buy a top or shoes to go with it.
BUT, as I was originally not going to wear black, I had my eye on this skirt and have ordered it and am waiting for it to arrive - so having said that, I might not like it when it comes and then my decision will be made!!

I could dress this skirt up with a simple top and heels and arm bangles etc - only thing is I'd need to buy a top and probably shoes to really glam it up.
I think I like the look of the Warehouse skirt better, but then ?I'm thinking that I'm likely to get more wear out of the plain black Coast one - but is all black yawn material?
Go on then, opinions please. All I want to do is look striking!
Thanks! :)
Answer:
Hmmm.....
I really like that Warehouse skirt (I think I remember the thread you posted before). However, I'm also a big fan of all-black outfits - I love them and think they can look really elegant and striking. Your black outfit sounds great - chic and understated, but still striking. On the other hand, the Warehouse skirt with a gorgeous creamy top and metallic heels would look fabulous too. Hmmmmm.......
I'm feeling particularly indecisive today myself so can't really help much - all I'd say is that the black outfit is more classic chic, and the Warehouse one would be funkier and cooler. It's probably also fair to say that the Coast one will last forever, fashionwise, but the Warehouse one might not, if that's a consideration.

Answer:
Hi Netti
I'm biased towards the black outfit because I generally wear a lot of black. But, like Geek_Kitten suggested, if you feel like looking a bit different, I'd go for the non-black outfit - as most likely all the other girls will go for safe black.;)
Answer:
Thanks you pair - very good opinions! I suppose one of the main things for me to do is wait until the Warehouse skirt comes and if it looks pants, then I'll go for the black. And if I do like the skirt from Warehouse, it's a case of whether I can find just the right sort of top to go with it - don't think shoes will be a problem.
Thanks again! ;)
Answer:
Well i'm rather biased towards black anyway. I do like that skirt though, although it's an unusual colour, I have no idea what you could wear with it.

Searching for the perfect strapless bra
NO.5. ask :
Searching for the perfect strapless bra
I am a 34C and I want a strapless bra that isn't padded cos I don't really need more boob, but that doesn't cut into me giving me a fatty overhang next to my armpits - know what I mean?
Has anyone solved this one, which I swear I have been trying to solve for approximately 10 years!
Answer:
Hello,
I have a couple from Bodas which I love. They stay up really well and are very sheer so hardly show.
I'm a 32C and like you don't always like to add too much bulk to my boobs!

Answer:
Marks and Spencers?
Or...
Figleaves?
Answer:
I'm a 32D and love Lejaby Nuage balconette bras with detachable straps.
Answer:
Looney is that the one I have which is kind of 'formed' - thicker than the Bodas??
If it is I'd second that recommendation if you want a bit more support!
