New Bangles

NO.1. Ask :
New Bangles
I have been trying to get a piccie from my phone and onto my computer all afternoon to no avail, so I'll have to describe them!!
I just got some lovely new bangles from Peacocks for a bargainous £3 each. They are to replace my beloved Topshop ones which have been stolen by PV's lovely Ruby (I am convinced!!) or maybe the light fingered Toosh!
one is choclate brown wood with a cut out gold in lay and the other is a thick tooled gold one which will probably not stay gold for long, but definitely looks the part!
I am very chuffed.

    Jacket?
I've been looking for a white jacket for ages and I've found one that fits really well. I'm just concerned that it might be too overpriced - what do you girls think?

    Answer:
I love shrunken jackets, though do find FC UK to be a bit overpriced sometimes for the quality. I would try it on to see how well it is cut and how well it fits.
There are little white jackets all over the high street for a third of that price...
    Answer:
I tried it on and the fit and quality is great which is why I'm tempted. I've seen lots in other shops but not with the fit hmm
    Answer:
Well if it fits well then go for it. White jackets are so useful
    :)
And for a jacket that fits well, that price is fine...
    Answer:
I personally think it's overpriced... but I pretty much feel that way about FC anyway.
But if it's just what you have been looking for and fits you great then don't let that stop you.
One thing I would consider is that it looks quite 'high maintenance'... dependent on how much you would wear it really. It looks like a bugger to keep clean and it is dry clean only.

    Customising Help Needed
I bought this VERY VERY dark denim military-esque style jacket the other day. It has a zip, no pockets, long sleeves, puff shoulders and bishops collar. I want to customise it but am not sure what to do....any ideas?
    Answer:
    You could check out Craftster
It is a really good site with lots of inspiration in the forums!

What do you mean by customise? You could try beading or embroidery. I love that "child embroidery" at the moment (you know, the one that is just a single line and a bit wobbly and amateur-looking). That would look great with dark colours and might be a good contrast to the harshness of the military style.
You could also try sewing bias binding in a contrasting colour around the edges and cuffs.
Do you have an idea of what you want to wear it with as customising it can change the style completely?

I second craftster too, it's a fantastic resource.
    Answer:
I am wanting to wear it with something plain so I want it to be jazzy and unusual
    Answer:
You could try putting some beading on it?
Its very fiddly and time-consuming though.
Check out craftster, there are loooads of ideas for pretty little things. It could inspire you to do something completely different!
    Good luck!

...moron or, worse still, a pervert, how do you "store" your bras?
I was sorting out my underwear drawer and realized that I do this thing where I fold my bras over on themselves, so one of the cups is always inside out and other the right way round. Is this bad? I have some with...you know...."sentimental value", that I want to keep for a long time (at least as long as this relationship lasts).
    Any bra-keeping experts among us?
Also on the subject of underwear storage, while I was away, I took my washing to a Chinese laundrette and they paired all the socks up just by folding over the top edge... I always push them into a big ball... I don't know, I just thought that was odd. They just threw my skimpy smalls on top though.

    Answer:
Mine are just flung in my drawers all over the place.
    Answer:
I fold my knickers up and put them in the cup of one bra and then fold the bra in half pushing the other cup into the first cup - that way I can always find the matching knicks and bra.
I fold the top of one sock over the other and pull it all the way down so that the pair are unable to be separated.
i also pile my bras in black, white, flesh, sport and fancy piles.
...but I am a bit obsessively anal about things being neat - mr elliecat calls me monica when he wants to wind me up - for some reason though he gets quite cut when I reply 'so i guess that makes you chandler ?' ????

    NO.5. ask :
    Oasis Sizing
    Hello
Does anyone know what size Oasis go up to?
It's just that I saw a catalogue of theirs in a magazine a few days ago and they seemed to go up to a 20?
    Is that right?
    Answer:
I've never seen a 20 when I've been there, think they only go up to a 16 but I could be wrong.
    Answer:
Size 16 instore but I have seen lines in catalogues that go higher.
    Answer:
Ah OK - it must just be their catalogue stuff
    Answer:
I have only ever seen size 16 max.
