Depressed about Jeans.... any help?
I don't get to London that often but when I go next i'm definately going to try Start to get that perfect pair of jeans (hopefully.. i just have a feeling that she'll take one look and me and say 'no, sorry love, can't help).
Went shopping for jeans today and 5 hours and no jeans later i'm just depressed.
I'm a size 13 (which is totally different annoying issue), size 12 in some shops and size 14 in others.
My legs and hips are slim - if you just saw my legs you'd think maybe size 10. But my tummy is (2 kids and gone to seed) is a bit floppy.
I can't find a pair of jeans that fit properly everywhere. If they fit on the legs, they give me that really attractive over hang on the waist and if i go a size bigger, they look ok on the waist but just go straight down everywhere else.
I'd really like a pair that i can do that nice gathering at the waist )can't explain that properly, but only thin people seem to be able to do it) and still fit nicely on the hips and legs.
Does anyone else have a similar body shape and have found a brand that does the job?

Hiya Froggy! Did you try 7FAMK jeans? I'm a size 9 so I know how annoying it is but considering my exams I'd say I'm closer to a 10 at the mo! These do in-between sizes and have lots of very flattering styles!

I thought about 7famk but was in brent cross and didnt see anywhere that did these (if i'm wrong don't tell me cos i'll be even more depressed) and watford last week - again nowhere there does these.
Costco did them a while ago - only one style and they looked complete rubbish on me.
Which shops are they in?

It is not gold-gold. It is more cream with a metallic sheen so not really for anyone that wants bling. It is not that big but you can fit quite a load into it. There is a thread on here called 'Lush Gold Faithfuls on the move' with pictures of an empty and a full one on a bagger.

Right, ladies, I just noticed that the back labels on my Joeys are different. The blue ones have a simple white and red one and the black ones have a colourful one. Have they been changed recently or do they vary depending on the model? What sort of label do yours have?

I can't remember what they are, but I know the labels on mine are different - I think two pairs are the same and one is different.

Being a huge fan of Trinny and Susannah, plus an avid reader of the usual fashion mags...I hear all the time that wrap over tops and dresses are perfect for hiding a bit of a tum.
So, how come everytime I wear one, I feel like Ive just gained weight and am about to have a baby?
I love all the new outfits out there at the moment, but they just don't suit me.
Anyone else found this??? :(

i feel like this too - i am a size 8-10 yet always seem to develop a tummy when wearing wrap tops :( not so bad with the dresses, but i do feel more confident when i wear those with trousers.... if anybody has a magic forumla, please let me know!
(i have 4 wrap dresses hanging in my wardrobe along with 3 wrap tops that i actually really like and would like to wear more often! :rolleyes: )

Try those magic knickers under the dresses, prob woudnt work with the tops as you'd see it between the top and trousers/skirt. I've got some for under a ball dress and they really do suck your tummy in.
