Help! Going on holiday on Monday 'n need 32E bikini!
Am really hoping that you guys will be able to help me! I'm going on holiday on Monday to Gran Canaria and am desperate to find a 32E bikini, preferably halterneck or bandeaux but I'm having no luck! My local Contessa isn't doing swimwear this year, Debenhams only have one style in me size which I didnt like, n I dont know whether I'm gonna have enough time to order anything off the net..plus all the ones that I've looked at on Figleaves etc. have been about £40 and I didnt really wanna have to spend that much money!!
Am feeling pretty stressed out cos went to Debenhams at lunch and tried on 8 bikinis, some of them in 34 C/D thinkin that might work and it looked aawwwwffullll!! wahhhhhh
***lays down on the ground and bangs fists and feet against the floor accordingly***
Thanks for any help!

Answer:
bravissimo?
Answer:
Bravissimo do bikini tops in your size, and do next day delivery but its expensive, and the tops are about 30 pounds, ones less than that seem to be really rare that really annoys me (I asked once to be told 'Everyone else can afford it').
Or you could give Tescos a try, I managed to get a DD cup black bikini top for about 6 pounds, but it was a bra top, not bandeau or halter though.

Why the heck does it feel like i am the only person on the planet who's waiting for a parcel (containing my beautiful dress) and it decides to take a detour halfway round the globe?! Grrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnn!
Feel better now, CG
Answer:
No I am as well and it's driving me bonkers.
My dress has taken over a week now to get here from the States and as it's USPS I have no way of tracking it.
Knowing my luck it's disappeared off the radar and I'll never see it again.

Supermodel?
NO.3. ask :
Supermodel?
I just saw this girl when I was out shopping. She was about 15, long black hair which could do with a wash, and pale skin, but not a 'pale and interesting' pale, more of a 'washed out' pale.
She was wearing a black vest top, short black skirt, and black ballet pumps. Now I never think that black skirt + black shoes + white legs is a particularly good look, but I'm not normally one to criticise other people's dress sense, so I would have let this go.
However - on her vest top, in big, bold, white print, it said 'Supermodel'. Now this is what gets me. How do girls have the nerve to walk around with the likes of Supermodel, Babe, etc emblazoned on their chests? I wouldn't do it even if I was supermodel material, and I certainly wouldn't do it with average looks.
I mean, surely everyone just looks, reads it, and thinks "er, no love". Surely if you're *not* supermodel material, you wouldn't really want to encourage people to make the comparison? Or do people who wear these tops think they *are* supermodel material?
Answer:
Ooh this bugs me too, especially when it's writing on the bum of their jeans! Maybe to a 15 year old it makes sense but I can't fathom why designers at 'select' or whatever shop think it's a good idea to produce these items in the first place.
Answer:
I hate this as well. Especially when some fat minging chav has 'Babe' written across their flabby tits.

Today's purchases...
This is really getting out of hand; my wardrobe is getting unmanageably large :o Despite not actually going shopping properly at all today, I have somehow acquired:
Deep red silk dress with a halterneck, a sort of fitted cummerband-effect waist and assymmetric calf-length skirt, which is utterly gorgeous and very grown-up sexy. I put it on and felt like a Bond girl, so I had to buy it. Now all I need is an occasion to wear it
A flesh-pink chiffony vest top with delicate irridescent sequins
A chiffony lilac top with a deep v neck and delicate beading under the bust
A really cool battered old chestnut leather belt with big tarnished silver animals attached at intervals (zebras, lions, etc) - a new way to do the safari trend, me thinks...
A dark khaki green light jersey dress with little cap sleeves and a deep v-neck
A pink heavily embellished halterneck top with lots of gold beads and jewels - done very tastefully since it's Oasis! This isn't for me though, it's for my little sis - I hope she likes it.
All for the magnificent total of about £45. I MUST stop just 'popping' into charity shops, or soon there'll be no room for me in the flat!
I'll try and post some pics once my camera has recharged itself.
A very pleased

Help me!!!
NO.5. ask :
Help me!!!
Hello all!!
I am begging for you lovely ladies to help me out.
I was on a rare night out on the town on Saturday and was thinking I looked ok, after being out for about an hour I came to the realisation that I have lost my grip on fashion, all these girls out looked lovely, all up to date and fashionable! and I looked a mess (my bro friend confirmed this in the morning by showing me pics of the night!)!
So Girls, I have £150 and I need your help to get me into this season, any advise on what I should buy would be lovely......
Thanks loads xxx
Answer:
some info about your height, size, colouring, lifestyle (i.e. wine bar/club or pub person) would help !:)
also, what do you like to wear now ?
Answer:
Well, for one thing, I bet you looked a lot better than you think you did :)
This season: well, it's ethnic/safari/gypsy style overload, as I'm sure you're aware! Metallics are big - shoes, belts, heres - as are turquoises, oranges and blues. One big trend is for shrunken or cropped stuff - shorts, gauchos, cropped jackets, shrugs and so on.
I think your first stop should be your wardrobe to assess what you've got and what you need to tweak it. For example, a pair of good jeans and a white vest can look bang up to date when paired with some great wedges, a slouchy safari jacket and ethnicy accessories say.
My choices are a bit random, but the key items I would go for this season are:
--A really well-fitting flattering pair of shorts if you can wear them!
--At least one cropped or 3/4 length sleeved jacket, preferably two - one in a neutral such as cream or taupe, the other more brightly coloured.
--A gypsy skirt - yes, they're everywhere but there are plenty of ways to wear them that look individual and different. Brightly coloured ones are great.
--A pair of wedges - opinion is divided about these, but I love them.
--A nautical-flavoured stripy tee; love them!
--At least one pair of metallic shoes - wedges, pumps or whatever.
--A fabulous here - metallics are the really big thing here, but there are loads and loads of other options too. I like bright ones in the summer.
--A safari jacket or shirt. I love these and am almost living in mine at the moment! A shirt dress is an alternative.
--Accessories - chunky wooden bangles, lots of skinny metal bangles, embellished cuffs, ethnic-inspired neck;aces, charm jewellery - pretty much anything is going. Belts are a great way to zing things up and there are loads out - everything from elaborate beaded cummerbands to plain wide suede belts.
There's probably more, but that's all I can come up with at the moment. Most of these pieces can probably be used to update your existing quite easily. HM, Primark, New Look, Topshop, Faith, Miss Selfridge and Oasis are all good places to look at the mo.
Hmmm, very long. Hope all that waffle helps a bit.

Hi,
Thanks geek_kitten, that is really helpful, I will be printing this off and taking it shopping with me!!!
I know I am being soooo thick but that does a safari jacket or shirt look like? and what are gauchos??
In reply to elliecat, I am a size 12/14 on top with a D cup and a size 16 on bottom! I dont think I will be wearing any shorts anytime soon!! I have longish dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
And I am happy to wear most styles but no short skirts or tummy flashing tops!!!
Thanks x
