Shall I pack away my summer clothes?
Ok, bit of a delimma. I have recently just bought LOADS of gorgeous new Autumn clothes and now do not have room in my wardrobe for both summer and winter clogs. Is it time for me to pack away the summer dresses, tops, sandals, flip flops etc?
I know we are in September but its still really humid and sunny some days  but Im bored of Summer now and really want to concentrate on Autumn outfits. Shall I just go for it and run the risk of being a bit too warm in what Im wearing, or leave it for a while and put my Autumn clothes away for a few more weeks, sob?
Opinions greatly appreciated.

Could you just gradually pack your summer clothes away...
like for example things that you know that you wont definately wear until next summer like bikinis and flip flops first of all and then so on until the colder weather comes along?

Well, I finally made it to Start - am helping organise a surprise party in shoreditch this afternoon, and accidentally ended up there when I was meant to be buying ice.
Anyway, it's a FAB shop - so many beautiful things. I ended up getting the Ernest Sewn Superfine ones, which a few of you recommended. They are WAY more than I wanted to spend, but they are really well cut, and pretty skinny - think they are better cut on me than the sass and bide ones.
Am very excited!!!!
Thanks for all the tips re Start, esp ellicat and pansymouse. What a great place!!!

wedding outfits on a pauper's budget?

wedding outfits on a pauper's budget?
In a few weeks I'm going to a 2-day wedding (hooray!) and I need to buy some reasonably demure outfits, but I'm skint (not hooray).
Most of my summer clothes are quite casual - linen skirts, jeans, cotton vests, so I don't really have much in the wardrobe to run with.
Any suggestions please on where to look for cheap, smart, colourful wedding attire, or what sort of outfits might work?
Thanks!
Answer:
I was in the same position last summer and totally shocked myself by buying a great weddingy-type dress in M S for only 39 euros. It was in the "dress" section and I'll grant you, there were plenty of Mammyish dresses but I found 2 gems which I wore to several weddings .. both had pink in them so I got a pink pashmina style thingamy in Debenhams for 20 euros and I was set.

Bra Fitting
NO.5. ask :
Bra Fitting
I went for my first ever bra fitting today, and I'm a complete convert!
Somehow I've reached 18 without ever having one done. I previously used the 'trial and error' method. But things came to a head when I was looking for the perfect strapless bra to wear under flimsy tops this summer.
I had to pop into school for a revision session today, but I was wearing a floaty vest and had nothing to go under it. I had to hurry into town braless heh. After a few unsuccessful stops, I headed into MS and despite the rudeness of the airhead assistants, opted for a bra fitting after being hassled by my mum.
They tried to convince me I was a 40A. This surprised me, as the last great fitting bra I had (admittedly over a year ago) was a 36D. Had I got fatter, whilst my boobs somehow shrunk? Disappointed and exasperated, I backed out of the store. With my time running out, I made my last stop at Contessa. Its a very small branch, and I've never been inside before.
"What size bra are you looking for?" asked the sales assistant politely.
"Errr... 40 A, or B maybe?" I sighed.
She shouldercharged me into the dressing room and soon sized me up.
"You're a 36E," she told me. "Or try a 38DD if the 36 feels a little tight."
She was right on the mark. It fitted perfectly. I bought it and wore it to school straight off. I am so pleased! I'm never buying a bra instore without being fitted again. It does wonders for my chest, I cant stop looking at them haha.
Just thought I'd share my experience. I am still annoyed at the MS service though. I'm sure its better in some branches, but I dont know what they were getting at. If I'd have listened to them, I'd have walked out with a 40A bra on. Ridiculous.
Thank heavens for Contessa!
Answer:
I thoroughly agree. Contessa are always good at that sort of stuff.
Bravissimo are also great at fitting at their shops. They fit by eye - going by how well (or not!) the bra you've got on fits you.
Apparently, the most common fault is for women to wear a bigger back size than they need, rather than going up the cup sizes.

Answer:
I've given up trying to get myself measured, ive been told i'm anything from a 42B to a 28FF, I've fathomed out myself i'm between two back sizes and cup size exactly, so bras are all a bit too small or too big.

Go to Bravissimo - they don't "measure", only fit! And you may find that different bras may fit in different sizes. Unfortunately, some brands fit bigger than others, and different styles might fit you differently too. I found once that different colours in the same style required me to wear different sizes. How weird is that?!
kateab
Answer:
Unfortunatly I live a few hundred miles from anything Bravissimo, I would go there in a instant if I could. 32 back is a little tight and 34 a little loose and DD and E are the same (I always try all four on), so I must be a 33DDD, this makes me a little nervous of ordering stuff through mail, I have to order one size and hope it fits.
Does anyone know if they sell the inbuilt bra tops in the stores, i'm interested in the halterneck black one (if I can scrap together the money for it).
