Summer blouses for work
I am looking for some summer blouses to wear for work with a pencil skirt.
I was thinking of short sleeved buttoned kind of prim but a hint of sexiness kind of thing(?) but also something that would be fairly cool to wear (my office feels subtropical at the mo!)
Any help much appreciated.....!:)
Answer:
I think Matalan and places like that do good shirts at cheap prices. I have one I bought a while ago and it's fitted to shape.
As for properly-fitted, sexy shirts I'd probably look somewhere like Topshop but then you're paying about 5 times as much!
If you find anything good let us know, I need some too!
xx
PS Oh and GAP.
Answer:
My local primark had a few of these in - there was a lovely white one with sort of pin tuck bits on, if that makes sense. Only about £4 too i think, but not my size (suprisingly!)
Answer:
Have you looked in next, they always seem to do that sort of thing.
Answer:
Marc by Marc Jacobs have a really lovely one just like you described. Comes in a nice pink and, possibly, cream. I hope that it's the sale and I can get my mitts on it myself :D
Thin Feet - Help needed!!

Thin Feet - Help needed!!
Summer is a nightmare for me since it almost impossible for me to find sandals that fit... Everything i try on is too wide I have almost given up... The thing is i need a couple of pretty sandals since i dont have many (About 5 or 6 pairs, seriously) Thats how big my prob is.
Can anyone reccommend any styles that they think might fit? Pics are def welcome!!
Also i dont live in the UK, but we have some shops here, such as: Miss Sixty, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop, Mango, Mexx... Cant think of anything else.. Has anyone ever bought a pair of Dr Scholles?
Answer:
I too have stupidly narrow feet and I share your frustration.
Experience has taught me that really cheap shoes tend to come up narrower so check out all the cheap and tacky shops. Sometimes they have some nice things in with the tat.
I find dressier styles tend to be narower also. Casual sandles seem to always be made wide for "comfort".
I tried on a pair of Scholl sandles the other day (this sort of thing: http://shop.schollshoes.com/range-wooden_sandals.php ) and they fitted because the strap over your toes is adjustable down to quite a narow fitting.
O/T have you started thinking about Christmas
NO.3. ask :
O/T have you started thinking about Christmas
Its not completely o/t given that its to do with shopping..!
I've started to think about it and got a lot of presents sorted in my mind really although obviously I have to physically go and get them!!
I will be buying some fashion/clothing related presents too probably for Mr Pink and my Mum and maybe my sis in law...
so have you started to think about it yet? or even bought anything???
Answer:
Yes! I've ordered some books for my brother-in-law and have been putting money aside for a few months for my 'present fund.' I love this time of year leading up to Christmas.
Answer:
Haven't bought anything yet but will start picking up bits and bobs for my girls when I spot them. I live in Spain where it is quite hard to get into the Christmas spirit early as the shops don't start bringing out christmas products until December and it gets nowhere near as Christmasy as the UK. In fact they celebrate January 6th more. A lot of expats living here prefer it but I always take my children to London for a few days in December for them to see the lights and everything. Oops I seem to have gone a bit!
Answer:
Nooooo
Shusssssh
Dont mention that word:cmdunno:
Answer:
sorry I can't help it. I plan out the money for it so its all in place for the end of October and then I go and buy all the presents and put them away in the spare room. I take a day off at the beginning of December, wrap all the presents, put the tree up and put the presents under the tree, write and post all the cards and then its done and reeeeelax
Vest tops
NO.4. ask :
Vest tops
I need to get some vest tops for my holiday but they can't be ribbed and must have a low neck line as I have big boobs. I've tried the Primark and Top Shop ones but they are really unflattering in the chest area. Can you recommend anywhere?
Answer:
Have you tried Dorothy P? I always find theirs are good quality and wash really well, and they're cheap.

Answer:
How about Matalan? Went in for the first time in ages last night and bought a lovely racer back vest that fits perfectly and is nice and long!

Covering arms in summer due to scars
NO.5. ask :
Covering arms in summer due to scars
I have some quite noticeable burns scaring on my top arm from an accident when I was younger and try as I might to not feel self conscious about it and go out wearing strappy/sleeveless/short sleeved tops in the summer I always end up feeling uncomfortable and covering up with a shrug or cardi and when it's really hot (not so much today but as it has been earlier this week) it's such a pain to have layers on but pretty 3/4 sleeved summer tops are quite hard to find at the moment (apart from loose waisted tunic ones which don't suit my hourglass shape at all) but yesterday I saw a girl with a gorgeous style top on which I'm now desperate to try and find. Unfortunately she looked in rather a rush so I didn't want to stop her and ask but I'm now kicking myself that I didn't because I can't even find a picture on the internet of the style anywhere let alone the top itself so thought I'd give it a go asking the fashion baggers, any ideas where I might find similar styles would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry if my description is bad but I would describe it as a low square neck with three quarter sleeves that sit quite wide on each shoulder (not off shoulder but so that alot of the collar bone and below is showing) The bust part was quite empire line so the bust bit looked like a panel across and then the bodice area was fitted in shape (not smocked/loose) and it appeared to be a very soft light summery material. I suppose you could describe the style as a wench top but that makes me think of squashed up heaving bosoms and ties which it definately wasn't, more a feminine summery wench (with no squashing but a bit of cleavage on show because of the square empire neckline)
The top I saw the girl wearing yesterday was a gorgeous pale minty green colour and Lisa L'Anson was wearing a lilac one not long ago in an interview so they must be around but I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not too fussed about the colour at the moment but I absolutely love that style it looked really pretty, I'm desperate to get a couple to wear before summer's over.Sorry I don't have any pictures but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
I think River Island had somethin like that, in a cheesecloth material. If you dont think tunics/kaftans suit your figure due to their shape, you could try and wear a belt over one which would break the look up a bit. You could also try asos.com i think they might have something similar.
Answer:
I don't know about the top, but there are special foudations that you can use to cover scars, tattoos, etc. if you feel self conscious about wearing strappy tops. :)
Answer:
This sounds very like the 'one I left behind' top I was talking about in the buy it now thread. If it is it, it's in **** sale at the moment, reduced to 27euro
