Fashion Trends You Wished You Never Followed....
I saw a similer thread on another site and it got me thinking, what items of clothes/shoes youve bought in the past, wore them with pride, and now CrInGe when you think about them?
For me it must have been when sleeve-less puffer jackets were in! I had a grey one, and it fitted like a life jacket and I used to wear it with jeans trainers :o
Also I was a sucker for tops with silly bold prints on them, I bought one with sunflowers printed on it randomly..what was I thinking?!?

I used to think I was the bees knees in my leggings and belted t shirts, now it makes me want to cry.
Also used to wear a pair of purple velvet knickerbockers (to the knees) with a white frilly shirt, knee length white socks pulled up to touch the bottom of the knickerbockers and red and gold sandals. This was my favourite party outfit and I wore it all the time:eek:

I never had one of those but I remember them! I was far too busy wearing my bright turquoise and purple HUUUUUGE NBA Charlotte Hornets jacket :o :o :o You could see me coming a mile off!

Which Bagger spray painted their shoes and.. what kind of paint they used?
I am thinking about painting a pair of ballet flats a bronzy metallic shade.

I've finally found the perfect dress to wear to a wedding. It's gorgeous.
But nobody has it in my size :( :( :( .
It's the 'Harlow' dress from All Saints and is gorgeous. I tried on the large as that's all they had, but I need an extra small and there's just no way of taking it in that much.
I've callled all the London shops and nobody has it in small or xs.
I've now emailed head office to see if they happen to have a sample or display one kicking around, but haven't heard back and I'm not really holding my breath on that. None on ebay.
Reckon that if I call the other shops (Birmingham/leeds etc...) that they will post it to me (or the shop near me?)

Is it a style that could possibly be adjusted? If so you coudl always buy a medium and get a tailor to adjust for you. More expense sadly but it may be worth it for the perfect dress.

They only had large. I tried, with the sales girl's help, to hold it in to see if I could get it adjusted, but it would have looked pretty bad taking it from a large to an extra small. Would have ruined it really.
If there was a medium it might have been possible, but alas, no mediums left either.

....but I really really want one of the gold sequin shrugs from Primark. Ive been waiting patiently for weeks to see if any come in to my local branch but they havent :( are there any left in any Primark store? Ive looked on Ebay but they are going for ridiculous prices :eek:
