Hello!
I havent posted in here for about a year, after fashion being the only place I ever posted, because that stupid internet explorer error message made it impossible for me to post, but with the makeover it has stopped so I can post in fashion again! :D :whoop:
Its ashame I'm broke but I've fallen so behind with fashion so will be doing lots of browsing in here! :)

Anyone seen these shoes IRL??
1 Attachment(s) Er...title says it all. I am umming and ahhing about these for my A/W work wardrobe and wondering if they look nice because I am unsure on whether the wood heel looks good or too clunky. Thanks!
Answer:
where are they from? i bought a similar pair but took them back because i thought they looked too heavy...
Answer:
Sorry...they are from Next
Answer:
Ah... ok i thought they looked familiar :)
i have seen them, and they are ok - but a bit too heavy and too much like the ones New Look was doing last year for me... i think the wood bit is too light - would be better if it was darker (i think primark had some ones with darker heels - but then again its primark, so it might be a bit hit or miss)
Answer:
Yeah I am a bit worried it will be like walking around with wooden blocks attached to my feet...i'm clumsy at the best of times

J Brand straight leg alternatives
I love the look of the J Brand 16" straight leg jeans - just wondering if anyone can recommend a pair of similar straight leg (not skinny!) jeans please.
Answer:
I find the h+m squin jeans quite straight leg on me. It might be to do with my matchstick legs though! They are a lovely indigo colour though and are nice quality
Answer:
River island - they have a new range too (I think it is anyway) called River Island Gold.
I can't do skinny jeans either as much as i'd like to, so have to do straight legged and the River Island ones get a huge thumbs up from me as they have many styles, sizes and leg lengths.
Answer:
Thanks ladies.
I had a look around my local high street shops on Friday and every pair I saw were either skinny or bootcut  I already have plenty of both!!
I finally found a pair in Asda of all places, and only £8. Not hugely keen on the colour (a bit too blue for my liking) so think will try dying them black at that price!
Linq stockists
NO.4. ask :
Linq stockists
Sorry, me again. Anyone know any sites, other than mywardrobe, that stock Linq clothes please?
Thanks!
Answer:
I could only find one UK distributor, called Prelude, which lists Cream, Powder, Lili Grace and Question Air as stockists but gives no phone numbers.
There are a few boutiques with the first two names, but Lili Grace is in Middlesex and the number is 020 8381 2062 and the Question Air site is here, although there are no pieces on there. Your best move may be to contact Prelude directly or to try hunting round US sites :cmdunno:

Shirt/Dress thing! french connection Help me!
Well hello ladies!
Today i bought a mainly white dress with light green and brown delicate stripes, from french connection. Didn't have chance to try it on but already have something similar so thought it would be ok. Just tried it on and its below the knee and slightly flared at the bottom which is not a style im used to. I have no idea what to wear with it! And i think french connection don't accept returns without a fault(it was in the sale!) any ideas?
Answer:
wear over straight or skinny leg jeans or trousers? If it's quite long then i'm thinking flat or low shoes would be better. If it's not too fitted or baggy, perhaps a belt around the middle too?
