Should I ebay this dress?
I bought it a while ago for £40 from a small shop, where it was labelled as 'one of a kind vintage replica'. I think the idea that it was the only one made me buy it! I had ideas for it but I've only worn it once. I nearly wore it for a night out with brown leggings and brown sandals but it just didn't feel dressy enough so I changed.
So- do you think I should keep it or sell? Do you think it would make much money?

I agree, it's lovely. Why don't you hang on to it for next summer, hopefully you'll have more opportunities to wear it if the weather's better!
It looks like the kind of dress you could have in your wardrobe for years and will always look nice with the right accessories as it's not too "fashiony" IYSWIM.

Big doh at just seeing your post now - I was in the Glasgow Argyle Street store tonight after work and saw it in a 16 - this is the size I am always looking for in TS too, usually in vain.

I have sold an item on ebay and now I can't find it...!!!!!!!! what do I do? I'm so fecking annoyed I was sure that it was in a particular place an now its not and I have no idea where it is. this is a small apartment and I'm thinking it could've been accidentally binned.

You've done the right thing emailing them immediately so they can hold fire on paying you. If you deffo have no luck finding it over the next few days, politely email them again and apologise and offer to either mutually not leave any feedback for each other or leave positive feedback for them for understanding... best bet to keep it all sweet.
I think of it from the view that if I bought something, then it was not available for whatever reason (I might be annoyed depending what it is) I don't think i would mind if the seller was apologetic enough and left me good feedback for understanding.

It's always difficult to tell the quality of leather in a picture, so the black ones aren't necessarily trashy.
They're okay but they do very much remind me of the mid-length, scrunchy pixie boots that were around in the late 80s when I was a teen. You might not think this is a bad thing but I wouldn't necessarily go there again.
It doesn't help that they're being worn with such a dull, middle-of-the-road outfit in the second picture. I'm not saying I dress like a fashion plate but there's something very dull and yet over-accessorised about that outfit and it's not selling the boots to me.
What were you wanting to wear them with?

I think I'm just desperate to buy something as I haven't been shopping for ages. Maybe I should just wait a while and have a shop in a few weeks time. That might stop me making any further mistakes.

Can anyone let me know where Holly's dress is from please! It was te red white check dress she wore when they went to the salsa class, it was very pretty kind of cowboyish if you know what I mean! I think she wore it with skinny jeans and heels. I have a feeling it was a high street dress as I recognise some of her stuff from Miss Selfridge etc. There is currently a dress similar to the one I want on the Miss S website but it's not quite the same.
