Converse Questions
Thinking about buying a pair of converse but not sure if they are 'me'. For all you converse wearers what colours do you have and how do you wear them?
Answer:
I love love love my cons.
I wear my Low pink ones with (almost) everything. Jeans(skinny and boy fit) denim skirts, teeshirt dresses. They also double as my driving shoes.
I have a pair of extra high tops which are khaki with an orange lining which look cute with denim skirts folded down to show the lining.
(i've also owned a low pair with flames up the side and a red low pair) :D :D
My only warning is that they are quite narrow so if you have slightly wider feet they might not feel as comfy.
Answer:
Have a pair of low yellow ones which are properly battered and a pair of purple hi-tops which still need some work  I was also eyeing up an orange pair.
Answer:
My little girls (aged 5) both wear them in pink and they look lovely with denim so I thought about getting myself a pair. I am not trying to be their sister:o , promise I'm not an old mutton dressed as lamb:D
Answer:
How about red instead of pink. Its a nice rich red... and i'm sure i've seen maroon ones too somewhere.?

i wouldn't mess about with any chain/necklace over that dress - it would detract from it and get a bit 'busy'.
gorgeous dress :throb
Answer:
Confused.
I dont know what the hell 'forked' is all about! :uzzle:
Answer:
Forking creates a new thread from an old one. I think it's for when a thread goes on a tangent - so you have two on-topic threads rather than one thread with two competing conversations.
I'm not helping am I?
Answer:
Um, slightly Ojo! It seems a bit long-winded....but thanks for the effort though :tenclap:
Have to say I dont know how it happened though, i must have forked myself without knowing *snigger snigger*

Miss Selfridge Watford
NO.4. ask :
Miss Selfridge Watford
I haven't been to watford for a couple of months, but went there the other day and found the Miss Selfridge has closed down. It was quite a good, large store but I heard from one of the SA's in another shop say that it hadn't been doing well so decided to close down, rather than move to a smaller unit in the Harlequin centre which is what some shops usually do. I was a little disappointed as I usually find some nice things in there.
I wonder if the rent is getting high in that place as DP in the same shopping centre is on it's way out too.
It did make me think though if Miss S might be going down the pan lately? I'm not too sure... I think it's ok, but some of it can be a little over-priced for what it is.
Does anyone know if any of their other stores that has closed recently? And what are your views about Miss S in general?
Answer:
The store in Oxford is closing soon, it never seemed to be that busy but I could usually find a few nice things in there.
Answer:
yingers only the other day i was thinking what has happened to Miss S in watford!
i used to like it in there, in fact i like miss s full stop so bah that its closed down.
Answer:
Oh no I didn't realise the branch in Oxford is closing. There a few enough shops as it is there without losing Miss S. I like their stuff, it's good for reasonably on trend clothes.
Answer:
What a shame! I haven't been to it for years, but I still get regular wear out of the grey wool jacket and leather boots I bought there a couple of years ago. Maybe the competition from the enormous Primark a few units down was the final nail in the coffin :(
Longline off the shoulder top
NO.5. ask :
Longline off the shoulder top
Come on experts, where's the best place to find one? Criteria is:
- longline and off the shoulder obviously!
- preferably long or three-quarter sleeves
- patterned (not too garish though) or plain
Just want something to wear with skinnies, heels and a long pendant for a night at the pub. Have found a couple on ASOS but wanted to check out all my options before deciding on something.
Hoping someone has some suggestions - thanking you mucho! ;)
Answer:
I think you might have trouble getting a long sleeved one Netti - I dont imagine they would fall that well with long sleeves?
They have short sleeved ones in Primarni at the moment
Answer:
Thanks Jenny. This is the sort of thing I'm after - not totally long sleeved but long sleeved enough for the winter nights down the pub! Might just order this one anyway and have a look in Primark too when I'm next shopping (which will be soon!!!).

Answer:
