Always wanted to be a Supermodel?
Five and Tiger Aspect are making a brand new show for Spring 2005.
Do you have what it takes to be a Supermodel? Are you female, aged 17 to
25? Are you at least 5 ft 8?
If the answer is yes then check out the page here.

One again, here is aiming at the demographic it wants, not the one it has!
Answer:
I'm 33, 5' 1" (although I'm willing to wear heals) and i must be about 3 stone overweight  Do I count? I am female though.
Oh please... go on. You know you want me. :D

 Oh for gods sakes!
There ARE some people on here who are in that category so there is a competition aimed at them. I'm sure there will be competitions that are open to more of us :)
And I am 5 foot 6, and definitely not model sized ;)

I agree!
What is with all the politics???

What is with all the politics???
Right I know i'm going to get blasted for this, but I feel I just have to get it off my chest.
I've been back on this forum (having registered years back) for over a year now... and I have to admit that i'm starting to go off it as I did the last time.
I like coming on here and reading about people's finds and ideas, sometimes I like to post some of my own or try to post an inspiring discussion thread... but in recent weeks (although sometimes it does go round in cycles) I've noticed more politics than ever... (my examples are that cliquey thread, the fakes vs authentics thread and the modesty B competition thread)
IMHO I've been sensing more bitchiness, bullying and unwelcoming elitist banter and sometimes it feels personal (although not to me personally) and I don't think that it should.
I'm quite addicted to the bag and love coming on here... but sometimes lately I just get fed up after reading a few threads and switch it off.
I just want to say that I'm not starting this for another political debate and i'm not starting any trouble or on any bagger in particular... I just wish it was as good a forum as it has been before... and for everyone to drop the attitude and be friends :)
I'd also like to say that I feel i'm saying this all out of personal experience... I know at times in the past I have been judgemental or had a bit of attitude, but I like to think that i've learnt my lesson now and am not like that anymore.
Answer:
It's january, everyone's gone mad. Except you, and me, but I was always an odd child
Answer:
Oi I'm sane too! :p
Answer:
Having read the threads in the question, they don't seem too bitchy, but I do know what you mean, Yingers. These things happen in cycles on the Bag though, so we should be looking at another fluffy, friendly age in a short while, I hope!
Answer:

Hey! I'm not mad. :p
Don't worry Yingers I'm sure it will all blow over. People get a bit sensitive when skinny model-types are mentioned <twitch See? it happens all the time to me!
I'm addicted to this site as well (not good as I'm SUPPOSED to be working! :o ).
Just ignore the politics and tell us what fashion item you are planning to buy next. :D I'm still planning to buy those lovely, very expensive boots..... sigh

Fashion question
Could someone please tell me the name of the split in the back of a skirt, that isn't quite a split, it looks like a split, but it's still part of the skirt and is pleated/folded. It may be called an inverted split??
Also does anyone know of any wholesalers/manufacturers of this type of skirt
many thanks.
HB.

How do these outfits sound to you?

OK, I ought to be writing PowerPoint slides, but I'm bored hairless so I'm bagging and rummaging in my wardrobe instead, bad g_k! Before I run back off to my slides, what do you think about these two outfits?
-- Black skirt hoiked up as a knee-length strapless dress, gold belt with a big matching flower attached, gold dancing shoes and a dark green shrug (of which exactly three rows have been knitted so far...)
-- Dark faded denim skirt, bottle-green tights, same gold shoes, gold knitted vest with bronze and pink beads and the same shrug (or possibly a brown one) with a big bronze flower (of which exactly 0 rounds have been crocheted!)
I do love figuring out how to work new things into my wardrobe - especially when I'm making them!
g_k
Answer:
They both sound lovely! You've made me want some bottle-green tights too!

I bought these on ebay and I got them this morning. Not too sure if I like them or they are my style. I am thinking of putting them back on ebay. Would you put them as one lot or split them up?
I rather like the purple pendents but not sure if its too old lady style!
Answer:
I love the blue bracelet and sparkly brooch :D
Answer:
just a bit puzzled as to why you would buy so many bits if youre not sure you like them? 1 or 2, maybe, but did you have an 'ah feck it i'll have all of them moment' when shopping?!?! did you buy them from just one seller?
i cant really tell if i like any of them as i like to feel jewellery and see it in the flesh as it were..i know, bit weird.

Yes I bought them from all from 1 seller. I rather like the purple pendent. I have a bit of a brooch thing going on at the moment!!
Answer:
had to return my brooch to Topshop yesterday as the stone fell out gutted (but not enough to paste sad smiley as i didnt cry over it!) as they didnt have another to exchange. Mew.
Enjoy your new jewels - if you decide you like them!
