Vogue's Spring/Summer Catwalk Special
Have just bought my bi-annual copy of Vogue - I'm such a fashion slacker - for the catwalk supplement, and .. I don't know .. maybe I was looking forward to it too much (I loved last years' round-up) but ... Lordy there are some cr@p fashion trends to look forward to this summer.
There's some downright peculiar collections going on - Stella McCartney's and Prada spring to mind, jusdging by the sreads in the magazine proper! While I don't follow the ideas slavishly, I really do enjoy loking at good design etc, and getting inspiration for my own outfits - and since I'm doing a 'fashion' (ok, dressmaking!) course, ideas for my own designs, but eesh...
Anyone else got this and feel non-plussed, or am I just showing my age? :lol:

I agree. The only spread I felt a waver of mild interest in was the one with all shades of blue, I am getting back into wearing different shades of blue (rather than just pale blue) so I was a bit inspired by that, but the rest was just bleurgh!

I actually liked quite a few things. Loved all the blues, also liked some of the 'nudes' dresses, the sequinny things and the big skirts in the 'volume' section (see my ballet skirt thread :) ) I do agree though that a lot of it is quite 'samey'.

I got mine a couple of days ago, but they have the same photos etc on www.vogue.com. What I did notice was how almost everything featured is a dress, did anyone else notice that, too?

Hi heregers!
Just found out yesterday that I have been wearing the wrong size bra, and that I am a size 30E.
However know I cant find any bras that fit, that are in my price range.
Bravissimo and figleaves are just too dear, and Adsa don't stock this size.
If anybody knows where I can get a cheapy bra in this size, can you please let me know.
My budget is weak, so as cheap as possible, if anybody can help.

Have you tried ebay? ebay 30E
They seem to have quite a few options, all new and quite cheap - most under a tenner but watch out for additional postage charges. Only problem is that you probably send it back if you don't like it. Maybe try it on in a store and then order it from ebay?

i also have a 30 back size, although as a d/dd, im a bit smaller on the cup size. unfortuently i have bad news; in normal high street stores it is almost impossible to find 30 back. i know that m+s dont do them, nor most shops eg new look or topshop. debhanhams have the odd line, but im not sure if they would go up to an E. if im shopping in these places for bras, i find that a 32, done up to its tightest, can be sufficient.
i know its a pain, but i really would advice you to invest in decent bras from more specialist places like bravissimo. other baggers may have other cheaper suggestions, but i am yet to find them.
they may seem out of your price range, but you only need one or two basic bras to start with, and bravissimo have their sale on at the moment. as long as you look after them, ie with handwashing, they last a long time, much longer than cheaper bras.
hope this helps, sorry i cant offer many other options! id love to know if there are any cheaper options available though, as my budget it minimal too!

It delivers in the UK, and a preliminary search of 30FF came up with bras at about £10, any help?

You could always try www.mapledrive.com - they usually have quite unusual bra sizes in. Have you ever tried on a 30E ? Because I've been wearing 34d/dd for a while now. They haven't grown, if anything they've shrunk a bit, but I got measured and apparently am a 28F, which is completely wrong because I can't even fasten a 28 around myself and I am most definitely not just one cup size smaller than Jordan.
