My LONG GAUCHO'S came today..
Ok, my long gauchos from The US came today (pretty fast I must say), but :meh:
Well let's just say I'd never wear them outside the house, unless I was on my way to yoga or something.
The are, like someone else said totally clingy on the thighs, and the fold over waistband is so HUGE, that when it's unfolded it comes up under my boobs.
(handy maternity wear I guess)
They'e not very flared or very long, and I'd only be able to wear flip flops with them.
They are alos NOT made of the lush material the Urban Outfitter ones ar made of, so all round, don't buy them, I'd say.
I'll keep them, as they're comfy around the belly, with the huge waistband, but the are NOT flattering AT ALL, as you can see :o
They remind me of many of my bottoms I have for the gym actually.
Excuse the weight gain, but you know why  :o
Answer:
Now is it just me or do they look fine on her and flattering?:)

Bargainous drainpipes!
NO.2. ask :
Bargainous drainpipes!
I'm so chuffed! I went to Lakeside outlet (near Doncaster) today, and found the most beautiful pair of fitted black Lee drainpipe jeans for £15 down from £55. They're too long for me, but they look pretty cool turned up, or easy enough to shorten (you wouldn't see the turn up in boots anyway).
AND everything in the shop was 3 for 2 - my mum bought a hooded cardigan thing for £15, so I grabbed another pair of the jeans for free...ebay here we come :p
Just thought I'd share my happiness! :yay:
Answer:
Bargainous, I went there not so long ago for a nosy, may have to pay them a visit again!
Answer:
Excellent, leave them long as they look really cool when worn with high heels.
Answer:
:whoop: goota love the new smilies!
go you!, you lucky lucky thing! :yay:
Best place to get a strapless bra??
NO.3. ask :
Best place to get a strapless bra??
As its the summer and i have lots of halterneck tops i have been wearing strapless bras, but they dont seem to fit properly and i end up walking round yanking it up all the time  it doesnt seem to sit there and ends up slowly falling down
I may as well not wear one
The 3 i have are from matalan, BHS (thats the best 1 i have) but it still isnt great and tescos!!!
I no there the right size as i have been measured?
Answer:
It sounds like you need a smaller back size :)
I had one from dorothy perkins which is quite good and was only £8!!! You could try somewhere like debenhams as they have lots of different brands. Also have a jiggle about with sizes :)
Answer:
If you can, buy the bra the same place as you have your bust measured - then the expert will be able to see it on, and judge if it truly is the best fit for you. And of course, do them up on a tighter setting if you can!
For a long time I had the same problem as you, though I found them an all-round bad fit. I was measured in Contessa and bought a great strapless bra there and then.
Answer:
All my best ones have come from Victoria's Secret. They're the only ones that don't give me Madonna-like bullet boobs aren't that noticeable under tops. :)

I was measured in BHS (about 3 months ago) which is when i brought this) it felt great on and still does now, its on the tightest fitting but after wearing it awhile it then starts to fall down!
Maybe my boobs have got smaller
Shirts for work
NO.4. ask :
Shirts for work
Today I had a real frumpy feeling wearing what I was, which I think had to do with that I was wearing a shirt (worn not tucked in, with trousers) and I just felt scruffy and 'blokey'. I then had a look at what other girls were wearing (I work in the City) and realised that hardly anyone was wearing a shirt. Does nobody wear shirts for work anymore?
Answer:
i do and i prefer it cos i feel more worklike, however it is sooo hot in my office that i end up wearing vest tops instead. i also find shirts gape over my boobs which really bugs me cos its not like theyre massive!!
Answer:
I don't wear shirts for work, but a girl in my office has a really nice one which really suits her. Maybe you just need to get a new style one.
Answer:
I sometimes wear a shirt ( i work for a large bank) but I do find that to get a really sharp look you have to go for a good quality shirt, like Thomas Pink. However it has been too warm lately to wear them.
I do quite like the tucked in masculine look, if it is done well.
Answer:
Maybe I do need to get some new ones as I *do* have ones that I feel ok in and they are more fitted than the one I was wearing today.
I think I've always thought of shirts as being the smartest thing to wear but when looking at other girls a lot of them looked much smarter than me today wearing other styles of top! Maybe I should also think of what else I can wear. I've got a few alternative tops but they are very simple and plain t-shirt type tops. Ideas anyone??
