If anybody is a size 14 I have a gorge Next black pencil skirt that has a very faint beige stripe through it. I can't wear it any longer as it is too small ofr me in the "seat" area now.

i just recently bought some smart mid-grey troosers for work, not cos im fashionable but cos they fit :rolleyes: anyway got them home, all well and good, they go with my black tops but...now im stuck :( i dont wear white so what other colours can i wear with them?

I have to go to Chiswick today and wondered if anyone could tell me what the shops are like there? Is it worth extending my day so i can look round them? Any particularly good places? Thanks

Chiswick is pretty dull in my opinion - no brand shops like Oasis - just the odd Petit Bateau, Space NK. Gap Kids - caters towards posh mums in my opinion - there are the odd funky shops like East but nothing else.

Make sure you walk down Turnham Green Terrace - there are some more "quirky" shops there.

There's not much in Chiswick, shop-wise. Loads of cafes and eating places though!
If you have time, go to Richmond, which should be do-able in about 15 mins in a car. Loads of shops there...
