Question for all those who make their own jewellry
After looking on a stall on our local market that was selling lots of handmade jewellry I am now convinced I can do it myself.
What I would like to know though is where do you buy all your bits from?? Have had a look on ebay and seen various beads etc but what about elastic for things like bracelets??
Answer:
I mainly buy my stuff from www.jillybeads.co.uk and have also bought from this american site www.eebeads.com :)
Answer:
Also try this site for jewellery making instructions http://www.jewelry-making.com
Answer:
Thanks for that:)
Do you make a lot of stuff?? do you find it quite easy??
Answer:
I only really make earrings as i find it hard to get nice clip on earrings in store :)
If you have the proper tools it's very easy. I bought the set of 4 pliers pack from jillybeads and they are perfect. It takes a little while to get used to making rings out of wire (to hinge beads for earrings) but once you have the knack it's easy peasy!
I haven't made much for a couple of months though:o I tend to buy cheap earrings on the high street and convert them to clips with the jewellery making stuff:o

Faith code anyone - am just about to order?
Thanks a lot!! :)
Answer:
I am sure my mum mentioned there is a discount voucher and possibly code in the new Company mag.
Answer:
I've got Company here with me - it's a 20% vouccher you can use online. Type in C0905
You can also cut out the voucher and use it instore.
Answer:
Oh no, too late, I placed the order already! Forgot to check here before I hit the checkout button - (have had a couple of glass of champers tonight to celebrate hubby's new job!!).
Wonder if there's any way I can still get the 20% off - I doubt it somehow.
Thanks anyway girlies - much appreciated!
ETA: Have just sent Faith an e-mail to see if they'll accept the code... worth a try!
Answer:

Anyone know which brand this is?
NO.3. ask :
Anyone know which brand this is?
A few weeks ago I saw a lady on the bus who got off at L'pool St station who had a really nice mint green hand luggage bag. I tried so hard to read the brand name stamped on the tag but I couldn't and I was to shy to ask her where she'd bought it from on a packed bus!
Does anyone know which travel luggage brands do really nice pastel coloured leather hand luggage? It was the perfect size to stuff all your crap into.
I want! (for when I DO go on holiday next ;) )
Answer:
It kinda looked like this but perhaps a teeny bit bigger. It didn't have the metal rings on the handles either and I THINK it had a long strap too.
Answer:
Anyone? Which stores should I checlk
Answer:
I can't find it on the site, but Marks and Spencer had a bag just like you described. It came in minty green, red or black I think, and was around £100.
Hope this helps!
Answer:
yes, I was thinking MS too! Not sure if I saw them in the shop or online but it was def there.

how to wear leopard print fur without looking like pat butcher...
Hi guys, have got a lovely morgan leopard print fur jacket from additions direct, comes with a pv belt that needs binning, apart from that it is nice, but i am worried it may look a bit lady of the night! i want that 60's sex kitten look, any ideas pls ?...!
Answer:
This the one?
Answer:
yes thanks Lapiz ! do u like ?, looks really good on her !
Answer:
I have a leopard-print coat and I tend to wear it mainly with skinny-fit jeans and ballet flats. I do wear it sometimes with a denim mini and flat boots, but mine's a much different shape and design to yours, so I'm not sure you'd get the same effect with it!
I'd say try to keep it as casual and relaxed as you can. Smart flared trousers would look nice.
Just don't pair it with tight white trousers and a medallion and I'm sure you'll be fine
This is mine btw :D :
Answer:
O.M.G. If I could touch you right now I would practically dry hump you. I bought this coat last year and took it back 'cos I couldn't afford it and have regretted it so much ever since! I am buying it right now:yay: :yay: :yay:
I actually do love you!
eta, sorry for getting over excited about that!! I will wear it with pencil skirts and patent black heels for trashy nights out, and black cords and denim skirts for daytime:)
I have bought it now - can't wait to get it. I am so happy that I have injured my foot and couldn't go out to celebrate my birthday tonight! It must have been fate!
wow, I *am* over excited :o
What to take on my holidays
NO.5. ask :
What to take on my holidays
Ladies I need your help here. I am going to Portugal for 2 weeks with Mr Tyla and his family and I need to start getting my holiday wardrobe organised. Now I have never ever been away for two weeks and never on a beach type, hot country holiday (sad I know :o). I was horrified when Mr Tyla told me I could only take one suitcase! So I need advice on what to take with me. I have plenty of summer clothes - have been buying stuff in anticipation of going away - but have no clue about putting a holiday wardrobe together.
We are staying in a villa with a pool and there are beaches nearby. We will be going out to eat most evenings. Neither of us are really into clubbing anymore and the place where we are staying is quiet, not somewhere you would go to bar hop every night so I think only a couple of bar/club nights out to consider. We've hired a car so we can get out and about and do some sightseeing - neither of us wants to lie around in the sun for two weeks, we'll get bored. Also hoping there will be some shopping opportunities in the way of markets where I can buy nice jewelery and accesories that I couldn't get here.
Think that covers everything so please help me plan my packing!
Answer:
Probably won't list everything here - I'm sure others will think of more, but here's what I'd take:
Cowboy sunhat
Flip flops (1 x dressy, 1 x beach)
Wedges
Kaftan
Linen trousers (mine are cropped)
City shorts
Skirt
Denim mini
Vest tops/Camis
Beads, bangles, earrings
Suncreams
Travel sized toiletries eg shampoos, conditions, moisturisers
Don't forget if you run out of stuff you can always wash it whilst you're there!
Try to stick to colours that will all go together - for example, my colour scheme tends to be choc brown, turquoise and white/cream.
Don't worry - one suitcase is plenty - have a great time! :)
Answer:
Thanks for the reply Netti. I hadn't thought of a sun hat at all so I'll have to try and find one this week. Like the idea of a cowboy sunhat.
We will have a washing machine, iron etc. so I will be able to wash while I'm there. The suitcase I got is big and I guess summer clothes are small so no doubt I'll manage. I'm getting really excited about it now! It will be nice to wear summer clothes as the weather has been so rubbish in Britain this year.
