Job interview, what do i wear?
Hi baggers,
I need your help.
I have got an interview on thursday for a job in a department on one of the fashion concessions.
However, i do not know what to wear??
Im thinking of wearing a suit, but then again not and just weraing some nice trousers with a top.
What do you guys reckon?
Please help!
Answer:
I don't think you can go wrong with a suit or top and trousers but maybe if it's a more 'fashiony' concession you may be able to get away with being a bit more funky?
Answer:
Thank you cic for your advice.
Thats what i thought too, didnt want to come across wrong in the interview and want to look like ive actually made an effort.
Thanks,
Zoe.:)
Answer:
What store/concession is it for Zoe? :)
Answer:
hi cic,
it is for the therapy concession situated in HOF.

I am sat here p*ssing myself! There is a thread called "trends you are sick of" and they are poming across as so pretentious and pathetic it's funny.
They are all slagging off peeople who are wearing the latest trends as fashion victims but then saying they used to wear the trend too but wont now as it's not "individual" enough anymore! What do you expect ??? I mean if you're going to buy intoa trend like military or Victorian or whatever of course other people are going to be wearing it, you can't be the only "fashionable" person in the world ya know!
And some of the stuff they hate, "messy ponytaisl as it looks so fake" what???   how can that look fake?
I mean I know we have a dig at ponchos and the like but theres people already slagging off Victorian and its just started, I htink theyre just sour because they wnat to be the only ones to sport this look  and then it gets to highstreet and they turn their noses up!
and converses... converses aren't a trend.....
Answer:
That's really silly! If you buy something from a high street shop that's known for selling fashionable clothes then of course other people are going to be wearing it!
Answer:
Pray tell exactly what are THEY all wearing them??!
Answer:
I know, the thread is here, if you want a chuckle...

this though did make me laugh ...
Ahhhh...the Military Look....you know something's amiss when you watch Der Untergang,a two and a half hour movie about Adolf Hitler's last days, and all you can think is how TOTALLY A/W 2005 the SS soldiers look
side fringes though I mean eh? I'm waiting for someone to say blonde, I'm so over blonde hair and people with noses noses are so last year every ones got one ya know
Answer:
It's obvious that catwalk trends should be saved especially for them and the rich and us 'normal' folks should wear potatoe sacks:D:p

Ebay 'Chloe' Paddingtons- to buy or not?!
I've got my eye on a few tan 'Chloe' Paddington's on ebay... you know the sort, seller situated in China, pay only by money transfer....
Has anyone got a bag, Paddington or otherwise from one these sort of sellers? If so, what was the quality like?
:)
Answer:
I use ioffer for that kind of thing. At least they are honest about the fact that they are copies.
Answer:
careful though - the ones in China charge about £50 for shipping!!!
Answer:
Okay, will check out ioffer.
The Lush site is offering a tan mini Paddington for £45 in the sale. Might pick one of those up as long as the mini size still fits on your shoulder!
Answer:
I have an ordinary size paddington from Lush and it is absolutely gorgeous. There is also someone on here who got a milk Paddington from ioffer - maybe if you do a search you can find out the sellers name.
Ugg Boots - shall I?

Ugg Boots - shall I?
Need a bit of advice! Are Ugg boots still in fashion???
I'm in Chicago and going home tomorrow so need to know asap! I am looking at brown ones and they are $127 (is that a good price or could I do better on e-bay?).
Many thanks
B
Answer:
they aren't in fashion as such, but they're comfy like nobody's business so if you want them get them. $127 is normal, i don't think you'll do much better than that..
Answer:
I JUST read an article saying how they are like bootleg jeans and will never go out of fashion. they may not be everyones choice of footattire but peeps are still wearing them. i wear mine but i'm not very trendy !!
Answer:
Get them, comfort, snuggly and cute as long as they're not in pastel colours (no offence to anyone, that's just my personal taste ;) ) Guarantee you won't want to take them off even indoors :)
Answer:
I've jumped on the UGG bandwagon this year - they are considered 'out' now but i don't care!
I think they look cute with jeans tucked in and best of all the keep your feet warm! My friend saw mine last week and wants a pair now :D
Exchanging at Zara after 28 days.....

Exchanging at Zara after 28 days.....
Hi,
I never realised Zara did bigger sizes so i bought a jacket in a size 16 which just about fits me but better when not buttoned. Anyhow - bought this over the August bank holiday and last week i noticed they had an 18! Is it worth trying to return it considering i havent even worn it as yet?
So pricey so really want it to fit nicely - im not even huge and hate silly store sizes!
Answer:
If it's an ongoing style that they still have in stock then you're more likely to have more luck. Always worth a try I suppose :)
