Knee high boots - with what length skirt?
I'm a thirtysomething so I'm not keen (nor able!) to wear a mini mini skirt at all. And certainly not with knee high boots with a heel.
I normally wear only denim on my bottom half, what length skirt would you wear?
Knee length?
Above the knee?
Mini (EEK)?
eta this is to wear to a party with new fella's family :eek: and I really really want to wear a skirt.

You could wear any of the above three, if you find the right style that suits you and whatever you feel comfortable in. Go shopping try on all three lengths and see what you feel best in! ;)

I'm a thirtysomething too but I dared to wear a just above the knee denim skirt from Karen Millen with my knee-length brown boots the other day. I didn't get pelted with rotten veg or anything so I guess it didn't look too bad...Go for it if you've got halfway decent legs!

I noticed recently that Next have one of the most extensive petite ranges I've ever seen (hardly ever used to go in there - only went there because someone recommended they do good socks!) So I've tried on loads of tops and they are so badly cut! The length is right but they don't fit at all and aren't even remotely flattering.
I did buy a top there a few weeks ago which just about fits, but seems to be made of some really awful fabric that makes me feel all sweaty. Has anyone else noticed this? Please tell me it's not just me...

I like the Next petite shirts, since they're one of the very few brands which accommodate my shoulders without bagging ludicrously round the waist. I'm not that keen on the jumpers or much of the other stuff though - the jumpers don't fit me well and they're often very plastic :yuck:
