Is BHS part of the Arcadia group? I got pounced on for a store card in there today and agreed because the girl mentioned being able to use it in Dorothy Perkins. Would I be able to use it in all the Arcadia stores?

Answer:
It's not part of the arcadia group, but it is owned by Phil Green. You can use it all Arcadia shops.
Answer:
Ooh, fab :)
Thank you!

Yeah I went to a golf 'do' last week. What you wear should depend on the clubhouse dress code. Mr Toosh plays at a very young club so they have a relaxed dress code but a more established one where he also plays is old school and they have a jeans, collarless shirts and trainers ban.
If I were you I'd ask your OH about the clubhouse dress code and take it from there. If it's a dinner thing, then I'd imagine it would be more on the formal side. How about something like black cigarette trousers, cute camisole, clutch bag and killer heels? In my experience, there's usually a fair amount of money around golf so people do tend to doll themselves up and do a certain amount of "keeping up with the Jones's"! :D
    Answer:
I agree with Toosh. I play golf and we had a type of AGM a few weeks ago that was not fomal black tie etc
I wore black skinny trousers, a green silk halterneck top a black very fitted/shrunken cardigan open (almost shrug like but a bit longer) to cover up some green strappy killer heels, a green vintage clutch and simple gold hoops, a longish necklace that fell into the cut of my top with a subtle small charm on it, two thin gold bangles on one arm and on my other hand a subtle gold and yellow stone (topaz i think) cocktail ring (not that i gave my outfit much thought or anything lol...) .
Alternatively you could try finding the clubhouse dress code but i would go for a sophisticated, groomed and chic look. Have fun:yay:
    Answer:
i'll have to try and get more information out of him!!
i was thinkin of a black skirt ive seen, some sort of top and a shrug, and the killer heels are necessary hehe ;) just want sure wether it would to be too dressed up or dressed down
    Answer:
anybody else had ne experience, with these type of events.

I know I have asked this before but as the time is drawing closer lets all drool over each other's wish-lists again!
I want a designer here! Or lots of vouchers so that I can hit the Christmas sales.
    Answer:
For once, my christmas wishlist is going to be completely selfless sensible... I'm only going to ask that if anyone gets anything for me, that it's something for the baby!
Otherwise it would have been none other than shoes heres I think!

Touche Eclat (never get round to buying any myself!)
Black knitted beret (rather than the felt kind)
Oh and not fashion but I want a Nintendo DS with nintendogs.

    Ugg Store Australia
Hi, has anyone used this website before? It all looks ok and they are slightly cheaper on there than Hartings. I'm only looking for alternatives what with Hartings being out of stock. They give you a fast or slower option for delivery, the faster one being 5 - 10 working days. Think they work out in total with shipping £72
    Answer:
    I should have said.....
    www.uggstore.com.au
    Answer:
Well I've got and ordered a pair, worked out £71 including costs for 10 day delivery........
If I still am not sure when I receive them I'll ebay them ;)
    Answer:
I was wondering the same thing actually. I like the look of the lace-up ones and they do work out very cheap even with the 10 day shipping option.
    Might give them a go.
Oh, and I thought that the chestnut colour would be darker than the picture they are showing. Any thoughts?? Is chestnut dark brown?
Didn't think that I would fancy UGGs but they are much more appealing to me than they were a few years back.
    Answer:
Hi, yes Chestnut is dark brown, take a look at the other Ugg thread at the mo, there's a pic of CiC wearing them.
I've ordered from this website and so far so good, they've said they'll mark it as a gift and they've been despatched so just waiting for them now. Will keep you posted!

    bra padding
Sorry, this is so embarrassing but I need help...
I've always worn slightly padded t-shirt style bras as i've always been paranoid about pointy or showing nips :o :o :o ... having to wear maternity bras at the moment, there's not an awful lot of choice on budget, and the ones I've got are just thin cotton jersey.
does anyone know if you can buy proper padding for bras, rather than the breast pad things you get from boots, mothercare, etc... and if so, where can I get some? I've had a look on figleaves and la senza and haven't had any luck.
I'm hoping that such things exist, and what with the cold weather here now too, I need them more than ever!
    Answer:
Not much help but after my lurking on NMC *blushes* a lot of the mother seem to still wear 'normal' bras but in their new size so maybe you could just wear a normal padded bra?
    Answer:
I've bought maternity bras from mothercare as i'd been advised that you can't wear underwired bras while you're pregnant as underwires unnaturally shape your boobs and with that, the growth throughout your pregnancy will get uncomfortable and you can get mastitis.
Plus, the problem i'm having is that they've already grown in 4 months, gradually from a 34C to a 38D :o ... they will continue to grow and don't really want to keep buying new bras unless absolutely necessary. The mothercare ones are ok at £10 a go, but not overly protective!
The only place i've found non-wired t-shirt bras was MS, but the fit on them was truly awful.
    Answer:
A lot of them were saying the thing about underwires is an old wives tale, opinion seems very split!
Do you have any old bra's that you could take the padding out of?
    Answer:

    Hi hon,
this is not true, and you shouldn't have been advised that.
I still wear underwired bras as maternity bras are AWFUL.
It's a untrue myth that you can't wear underwire, you can wear anything as long as you're comfotable..
