Message from Lush re Spy Bags
I am.....errr....a regular customer at Lush......:o and I have just received the following message from them
Just a quick heads up, I wanted to let you know that all of our Spy Bags have been changed, we had a nightmare with our scheduling and our hardware with our old factory and now we have changed, and the bags are amazing. I assure you that anyone who sees and purchases any of the new spy bags will be impressed.
Do let me know if you have any suggestions for new bags and we are releasing new styles every few days getting ready for the Holiday Season.
Mmm I think I might be buying one of them there spy bags...dammit it was easy to resist when people were having problems.... maybe we can ask them about Bayswaters?
Puddy
Answer:
Yeah, I've been checking the site over the last week and they DO seem to be adding bags every few days - Verrrrrrrry bad for my bank account!
I understand they've changed the hardware on the spy bags so that they have a compartment in the "tube" handley bit (didn't before) so more like the real Fendi.
erm, and i have a black fur one on the way to me
I walked past Fendi on Sloane St early monday morning and was DROOOOOOLING over the pink velvet quilted one, with big darker pink velvet ribbon tie and pearls. If only it was open, I would have been able to stroke it!
ETA I haven't had any problems with my large cognac one
Answer:
Oh god shuddup! I can feel my credit card inching its way out of my here as we speak! I want a big brown spy bag!
Answer:
Look at the black hobo
Mmm I got another Roxy instead of this one. But it's nice....
Answer:
Look at the Large Brown Spy
Would that fit A4 do you think? Who's got one of these? Is the leather nice?

1 Attachment(s) Am going to a party this weekend where I'm meeting the OHs family and fancy wearing something leggy-ish with a funky top.
So thoughts pleeese on these tops. Was going to wear a shortish denim skirt, plain black kitten heel knee high boots and one of these maybe....? I also bought a black kukui necklace which I wouldn't mind wearing.

What to wear....?
NO.5. ask :
What to wear....?
Hello :)
I have a Christening to attend in a couple of weeks (i'm planning ahead ;) ), and I havn't got a clue what to wear. Weddings I can do, but my friends have only just started to have babies so this is a new one on me! My OH is going to be the babies Godfather, so we are obviously quite involved in what's going on - or he will be at least.
The other factor is that my OH's ex fiance will be there - with her partner - which is cool, but I would obviously like to go the extra mile to look nice. She is a very nice person, but I hope you know what I mean!
So, what should I wear? It's quite low key (close friends and family only) followed by a lunch at home. Am thinking of a lovely white skirt I have with heels, but then what do I wear on top? A strappy top doesn't seem appropriate for church. Or beige trousers, red heels, a little red / pink top and nice informal jacket - although i'll need to buy the jacket as I only have work type formal ones.
Goodness - i'm sure I used to be good at this choosing outfirs lark :(
Any thoughts?
Answer:
I so know what you mean, think it's our prerogative to want to look extra nice around the OH's ex
If you go for the white skirt how about a simple cap sleeve, scoop neck top. That'd be quite low-key and you could choose one in a gorge colour since the skirt is white. Per una have some with a pretty fluted neckline.
Another option that springs to mind is a wrap dress, knee length, with your red heels. Perhaps in a cotton jersey type material rather than one of the evening style ones?
Answer:
Go with the white skirt and heels, and maybe just a plain vest top, the ones with the thick straps, or a fitted tee-shirt? plain colour, then dress it up a bit with some beeded jewerlly(sp) and a few bracelets!
Answer:
How about wearing the skirt, a strappy top and then a contrasting pashmina to cover up when you're in church?
A nice floaty blouse might be cute too - I'm imagining a cap sleeve one similar to what rosali meant (I think!) :)
Answer:
or the skirt and pretty/strappy top with a pretty cardi over the top? Could then layer with a jacket if it's a chilly day. And prettty jewels of course!
