Slightly O/T but will greatly affect me fashion wise
I started a new job yesterday. My last company paid me today and it's exactly half of what it should be so I queried it and it's right. Basically they pay you for 2 weeks work done and then 2 weeks in advance. Because I left there on the 14th November they have only paid me from the 1st till the 14th.
Once I get paid with the new job (yet to know when the new pay date is :rolleyes: ) it will even itself out but god what a nightmare! They might not pay me for 6 weeks if they don't count the end of this month and do it the next :eek: :eek: :eek:
You don't think about these things when you swap jobs, good job I've got an overdraft on my own account plus the joint account.
No shoes for me on the Faith discount today then :(

I really want to get some skinny jeans as I have a few pairs of knee high boots that I think would look great over the top of them. I have been to a few different shops to look for skinnies but I can never find any that are really nice. I tried on Topshop's Baxter jean a few weeks ago but I thought the denim was too thick when I went to Primark (expecting to see great bargains after hearing such good things about it on here) they only had about 3 different styles of jeans there none of them were 'skinny'.
Can anyone help me find what I'm looking for? I want a thin stretch sort of denim - something I can wear tucked into boots.

If the same person is bidding and hasn't hit the reserve yet, it isn't dodgy, they're just trying to figure out what the reserve is not put too high of a bid on it past the reserve.
